Phoenicia University is pleased to host and organize a "Virtual" TEDx event licensed under “TEDxPhoeniciaU”. We aim that TEDxPhoeniciaU would be another outstanding TEDx event that captures inspirational local and communal ideas and maps them to an international audience. By doing so, TEDxPhoeniciaU contributes to the already rich and inspiring global TEDx content and context. Abdallah Yassine

Abdallah Yassine, a computer science student at Phoenicia University, shares with the world his own strong stance about living and fully functioning without limbs. In his inspirational talk, titled: “Neither Disabled nor Differently Abled but Actually Very Abled in My Own Unique Way!”, Abdallah asserts that the power of change is within each individual person, and that each one of us needs to define their life according to their own dictionary, terms, and conditions and not others’.

Ali Alawieh

Ali Alawieh is a mechanical engineering student at Phoenicia University (PU). He is the Secretary-General of the Phoenicia University Model United Nations (PUMUN) Club. As a mentor, Ali has been an active participant in the English peer support program at PU.

Alyaa Wazneh

Alyaa Wazneh is a speech therapy student at Phoenicia University. She is an active participant in a range of extra-curricular activities for personal and professional growth. Community-based and voluntary work occupy a big part of Alyaa’s interests as she strives to promote mental health as one of her social causes.

Farah Allaik

Farah Allaik is a speech therapy student at Phoenicia University (PU). She is a trainer and chair at the PU Model United Nations (PUMUN) program. Farah has been a mentor and active participant in the English peer support program at PU.

Ghadir Awada

Ghadir Awada is a civil engineering student at Phoenicia University, Lebanon.

Hanan Khreiss

Hanan Khreiss is a speech therapy student at Phoenicia University, Lebanon.

Homaira Sharifi

Homaira Sharifi is a BBA (Operations Management) student at the American University of Afghanistan.

Huda Awada

Huda Awada is a public health graduate from Phoenicia University. She is a social worker and a mental health activist. Huda has been involved in a number of youth empowerment projects. Some of her interests include meditation and self-awareness activities.

Hussein Krayem

Hussein Krayem is a mechanical engineering student at Phoenicia University.

Jehan Sher

Jehan Sher is a BBA (Finance) student at the American University of Afghanistan.

Joey Geadah

Joey Geadah is a Communications & International Affairs Advisor to various top-tier think tanks, media agencies, research entities, start-ups, NGOs, and investment firms across the MENA region, Europe, and the US. He is also a Communication & Social Media Instructor at Phoenicia University.
