In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Amajit Mukherjee

Amajit holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Resource Management from the University College Dublin along with a Master's degree in Genetics from G.B. Pant University. With 18 years’ experience, he specialises in strategic development and implementation of social and behaviour change communication programs.

Avni Bahri

Avni is a professional with over eight years of experience in the area of social and criminal justice, fuelled by a profound passion for advancing human rights, equality, and women's rights. Throughout her education and career, she has made significant contributions to policymaking, research, training, and advocacy, owing to her association with various N.G.O.s and government organizations, including the National Commission for Women and the Supreme Court Committee on Prison Reforms, Ministry of Home Affairs. Avni has actively participated in numerous public events and has been involved in training Police and Prison Officials throughout the country. Her core areas of interest include constitutional law, the criminal justice system, juvenile justice, gender, and human rights. Beyond her professional endeavours, Avni remains deeply committed to unravelling the intricate interplay between the socio-economic fabric of communities, intersecting and impacting the administration of justice.

Cheena Kapoor

Cheena is a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer based in New Delhi, India focusing on gender and mental health issues. Her works have published in several National and International media. She has been working on a long-term project on mental health- ‘Forgotten daughters’, about abandoned women in Indian mental asylums.

Chumki Bose

Chumki is a Dialectical Behavior Therapist who believes that Self-knowledge and Emotional Intelligence is the Start to the recovery of all kinds of Mental health Issues. She believes that we need to understand ourselves better to Manage and Navigate the world around us better. "Your Responses are your Responsibility, we all share a common platform, Some outshine and some Fail" She is a Management Graduate who did her MBA from Gauhati University, following which she prepared to get into a job, then a second and found it utterly meaningless to be sticking to it and Finally Joined a Meagre Job and almost slipped into an Existential Crisis that she floated by Changing her Profession and Starting a New Study Area which Leads her to be a Psychologist. She moved on to do a Masters in Psychology, and several other Certificate and Diploma courses in Psychology to fuel her Passion alongside Full-time Practice as a Counsellor in a Rehabilitation and de-addiction centre, to begin with, and then Moving to her Current Organisation.

M.B. Rajani

M.B.Rajani is an Associate Professor at the National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore. Rajani describes her serendipitous first step towards developing expertise in geospatial analysis for cultural heritage studies. She then describes the two inter-related facets of her team's research: hunting for clues in satellite imagery and old maps to find new features of archaeological interest and preserving these fragile remnants of our past. Rajani presents several examples, including her remarkable findings at Nalanda.

Rahul Goswami

"Lakshya Jeevan Jagriti is a social enterprise working for women and youth development, it is based in Delhi. Founded in 2009, it has won several awards, including international ones like the Cherie Blair Foundation Fellowship Award 2017 , Global Good Fund 2016 Fellowship Award, YSE Singapore 2017, Scotland India link 2018. In a survey that Lakshya conducted, it was found that the success of the children in households was proportional to the mother’s literacy. So Mr. Goswami, along with his co-founders started the Aao Saath Maa program that involves college students and part-time teachers, who teaches women basic literacy, Financial Literacy, and IT skills to enable them to be self-sufficient. The idea is to bring them in IT field apart from conventional skill training. They also provide special Leadership workshops to bring shift in their self believes .They also have tie-ups with local retail stores where these women can be employed. The belief is that by educating the women, the whole family can be empowered"

Sarika Bhatt

Sarika is Associate Director in Nagarro and founder Trustee of Raahgiri Foundation. Sarika is leading the Raahgiri Day movement in Haryana. She is is also helping other cities to replicate this hugely successful concept. Sarika is also leading the non-motorised transport work and India Vision Zero work in Haryana and Punjab. Sarika has about 15 years of experience in the field of urban developments, transport, environment and architecture. Sarika was selected as one of the 60 global women leaders in the world who making a change in how we move in out cites. The recognition came from TUMI, Germany. Last month, Sarika was selected as the bicycle mayor of Gurugram by BYCS, Netherlands. Sarika has been formally trained as an architect and urban planner. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. Sarika also has a Master’s degree in Sociology.

Tena Pick

Tena is a social impact consultant passionate about women empowerment, community development and social impact measurement. She is based in India with extensive experience in the Middle East, Caribbean, Africa and South and Southeast Asia. She is the Founder of Project Kal, a gender leadership academy focusing on dismantling toxic masculinity patterns in India. As a mentor, Tena has traveled to Gaza, India, Africa and all over Europe to help female-owned startups grow, and is a board member for a number of impact-driven organizations. Tena is a regular speaker at social business conferences around the world and a contributor to Training Magazine Middle East and Entrepreneur ME. She focuses on female-run enterprises, gender equality and social responsibility. She has been awarded Global CSR Leadership Award, 100 Global Sustainable Leaders Award and the Iconic Women award.
