In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Boots On

Boots On is a Swedish country rock band founded in 2013. Singer, Chris Andersen has appeared on Sweden’s Idol in 2011 and has been playing with popular Swedish bands his whole life. Drummer, Anton Körberg has hosted several tv-shows and had a morning show on Sweden’s biggest rock radio station for almost ten years. Boots On fills a gap between rock and country music and their new single “Alright” will be out in the near future.

Camilla Lundin

Camilla is an entrepreneur, co-founder of Qalora Capital focusing on fundraising through international investor networks, a coach for women starting companies at Qalora Growth, ranked among Sweden’s top 25 “Future Female Leaders 2019” by Ledarna, and started Sweden’s largest female career network on Instagram @businessanddreams! She leads by example and hopes to inspire more women to become entrepreneurs! Carolin Runnquist

Crisis Management Expert + author
Carolin Runnquist has extensive experience of working with crisis management in various sectors and industries and has supported the Sweden’s top leaders and organizations through crises with good results and positive outcomes. Carolin often figures as a crisis management expert in the media and is a lectures often on the subject. In 2018, Carolin was named Super Talent by Veckans affärer magazine and IT Woman of the Year. In January 2020 Carolin’s book about Leadership in crises will be published. Stay tuned for her new podcast @fuckup_podden co-hosted with @JohannaTömmervik which will be airing shortly. She finds energy by being in nature, taking in the beauty of different landscapes and inspiration for ideas has come through numerous walks among frozen pines, finding solitude and a source for reflection in the Swedish forests.

Charlie Caper

Charlie Caper is a high tech artist and illusionist who wowed us on the TEDxStockholm stage with a snippet from his internationally renowned show Robotricks. He has performed in 53 countries in 7 languages and has previously won Sweden’s Got Talent. Last year, his show Charlie Caper - Robotricks played in Sweden, Canada, Pakistan, UK and Australia.

Håvard Lillethun

Global citizen, coach and corporate trainer
Håvard Lillethun is a global citizen who calls the whole world his home. He was born in Ethiopia by Norwegian parents and then grew up in Chicago, USA, Geneva, Switzerland, and Norway. He spent thirty of his adult years in Asia: India, Nepal and Thailand, first doing volunteer work and more recently working as a coach, consultant and corporate trainer. At #TEDxFastForward Håvard will tell his life story, a story that is both unexpectedly revealing and soul-wrenching. In the era of global social networks, when everybody is connected, we often share the same feeling – that we are alone. And this feeling becomes deeper and deeper. Come and listen to Håvard talk about how the feeling of loneliness that a child might have can dramatically influence choices in life and what effort is needed to turn everything back. Joe Macleod

Designer, Consumer Experience author
Joe Macleod’s career has spanned leading web, telecoms and App companies, where he led teams and built a variety of successful products. Most recently as Head of Design at the award-winning digital product studio Ustwo. As the founder of the Include Design campaign, he brought together hundreds of the Worlds design leaders to challenge the reduction and devaluing of creative subjects in UK core education, which resulted in the u-turn of the 2014 Conservative government on the issue. In the last few years, he has turned his attention to the problems in consumerism. This resulted in the Ends book and inspired him to found the company And End - the World's first customer ending business, which helps companies grapple with off-boarding in consumer experiences and countering the many issues with consumerism. He now speaks at conferences, businesses and universities around the world about the important yet overlooked the issue of endings in the consumer experience.

Katarina Graffman

Anthropologist, Ph.D., speaker, researcher, author
Dr. Katarina Graffman’s words captures why we need more cultural anthropology in our lives. Katarina is a leading voice and expert on consumption culture, dedicating the last 20 years trying to help society and companies better understand and operate within it. Stockholm-based, she runs the ethnographic and anthropological consultancy Inculture and co-authored in 2018 together with Professor Jacob Östberg the book “We are what we buy.” Katarina is an expert in consumer culture, consumer economy, sustainability, anthropology, tribes & trends, and media behavior. November 16th at #TEDxFastForward she will bring her expertise to discuss the impact of assuming and consumerism on climate collapse.

Lola Åkerström

Award-winning author and photographer Lola Akinmade Åkerström explores culture through food, tradition, and lifestyle for high profile publications such as National Geographic Traveler, BBC, The Guardian, Lonely Planet, amongst others. She has collaborated with many well-known brands - from Mercedes Benz and Dove to Intrepid Travel and National Geographic Channel and is the author of two books – award-winning Due North & bestselling LAGOM: Swedish Secret of Living Well. The accomplishments go on - Lola is editor-in-chief of Slow Travel Stockholm, founder of NordicTB Collective - which brings together the top professional travel bloggers and digital storytellers from the Nordics, recently was 2018 Travel Photographer of the Year Bill Muster Award recipient and was honored with a MIPAD 100 (Most Influential People of African Descent) Award within media and culture. Her photography is represented by National Geographic Image Collection.

Stefan Hyttfors

Futurist, Global Speaker, Author
Stefan Hyttfors is a former journalist, photographer, entrepreneur and has been awarded Swedish speaker of the year two times. Today he views the world from the standpoint of being a global speaker, author, and change agent. He studies trends and speaks to business leaders around the world in all different industries on topics such as behavioral change, disruptive technologies, and next-generation leadership. Stefan believes the future should be about how we create new, rather than capitalize on old traditional business models, thus expanding wealth and quality of life. His vision is to help as many people as possible to embrace change on a grand scale to create a better future.

Ullakarin Nyberg

Psychiatrist, oncologist, Attending Physician
Ullakarin is a national expert in Sweden on suicide prevention and the consequences of a suicide for bereaved relatives as well as for society as a whole. Her research is about parents and siblings that have lost a child through suicide and what should be done to prevent their grief from turning into illness. Ullakarin is clinically active as a senior phyciatrist within Swedish healthcare and a renowned speaker that lectures frequently all over the country. Her message is that many lives could be saved if everyone learned how to talk about psychological difficulties and suicide and she gives concrete examples on how this can be done. Ullakarin´s book "The art of saving a life - how to prevent suicide" has a large audience and has contributed to the development of an easy language for difficult matters.
