In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Charlotte Siena

Charlotte was a freshman when she gave this talk. She is the leader of her local chapter of Students Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, and enjoys being involved in other political organizations too.

Doria Day

When she participated in TEDxYouth@Bloomington, Doria was a Senior at Bloomington North High School, where she served as the president of the school's National Art Honor Society. At the 2019 Family, Community and Career Leaders of America National Competition, she took a gold medal and won first place in Garment Construction--earning her a scholarship from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandizing. She plans to pursue a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Fashion Design.

Taylor Bryant

Taylor was a Junior at Bloomington High School North when she gave this TEDx talk. She was the youngest Political Director in the state of Indiana, and a three year President of the Bloomington High School Republicans. Taylor has enjoyed managing and working on campaigns since she was 13 years old.
