In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Alejandra Mahiques

Journalist, Chief editor and Co-founder of Gaceta Holandesa,
is a Spanish journalist, chief editor and co-founder of Gaceta Holandesa, the only magazine in Spanish about The Netherlands. She is not just a journalist but a pioneer who is breaking paradigms with different tools such as: Grey Journalism. Through this she was able to build a new worldwide community of Spanish speaking readers that are interested in the Netherlands.

Amina Agovic

was born in 1995, in war-torn Sarajevo, where she later completed her undergraduate studies in Genetics and Bioengineering. Now a graduate student of biosciences at the University of Groningen, Netherlands, still interested and concerned with peace-related issues, specifically relating to the Balkans.

In addition, he is a professor in one of the most renowned universities at LATAM, Universidad Panamericana, where he teaches Marketing and Sales Strategy, focused on the new generation of Mexican customers.

After starting her career as a journalist, Mossalli is now an established name in the fashion industry, with Niche Arabia standing as the major consultancy firm specialising in luxury marketing in the Gulf Cooperation Council. Mossalli’s entrepreneurial company has been praised as a key player in elevating the global status of the Saudi Arabian fashion industry. Mossalli was the only Arab professional invited to the Celebration of Design Gala in 2015, hosted by the former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama. This cemented the entrepreneur’s status as a leader and ambassador for the regional fashion scene in the Middle East. Mossalli was also invited to the Cultrunners Public Storytelling Symposium, which was a joint venture between Art Jameel, Edge of Arabia and MIT’s Program in Art, Culture & Technology.

Milsy Liebezeit has been living and working in Germany since 1998. As a professional in Tourism Manager, she is fluent in four languages. Since 2013, she has worked pro bono as an activist in human rights and politics. Independently from political parties, as apart of civil society, which she sees as the driving engine of all change in the human realm. Working hand in hand with several groups and organizations, collaborating with world wide movements, she has led and organized diverse kinds of social and political activities in Europe, chieflyin Germany, The Netherlands and Belgium. She has brought the voice of Venezuelans to the European Parliament and the German Parliament on several occasions.Together with a group of Venezuelans living in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia at herside, she founded in 2017 the “Einheit fürVenezuela”. This movement works in defense of human rights, freedom, peace, and the return of democracy in Venezuela, through information and activism work.
