In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Avinash Kalla

News Junkie, Founder Of India's First Jounalism Festival
Avinash has been a journalist for close to a decade and worked with The Times of India and Mail Today Newspapers. He studied Masters in Journalism from University of Westminster, London & has been the adviser to Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Railways, Government of India. He has also been a consultant to Ministry of Rural Development, Government of Rajasthan on a World Bank aided project. He is the founder of India's First Journalism Festival - TALK JOURNALISM which is a not-for-profit initiative, built on the premise that there is need to discuss and debate media, a profession that discusses everything, but seldom talks about itself.

Manesha Agarwal

Manesha Agarwal is a multi-faceted performer, a gifted and versatile singer with noted theatrical prowess. An inevitable name in Rajasthani folk music, she is established as performing and recording artist. The title song recorded in her voice "Padharo Mhare Dess" released by Times Music has become the anthem of Rajasthan over the decade since its release. Her firm determination towards women empowerment led to her theatre project "Mai Hoon Meera" one of the most revolutionary women character Indian history has witnessed. Masoom Parmar is one of the few Muslim practitioners of Bharatanatyam in India today. A disciple of Gurus Sri Kiran Subramanyam and Smt. Sandhya Kiran, his work is cutting edge, bold and thought provoking. He is also one of the most sort after arts manager in India today. As a curator, he looks at tradition with a modern mind, to explore the past to create a new, imaginative future. He has curated "Koi Sunta Hai" - a festival of mystic poetry and "The Platform" - a festival for young promising dancers. He continues to push the traditional boundaries through his work."

Savio Mascarenhas

Illustrating iconic Indian comic characters – Tinkle, Shikari Shambu, Suppandi for more than 25years, this master illustrator believes that comics are a gateway to an alternate universe. Dedicated to his craft, Savio looks for stories in every nook. Growing up with a galaxy of characters from Tinkle, Amar Chitra Katha, Target, Children's World, he subconsciously chose to belong and live in that Neverland. He works extensively with children helping them explore their imagination.

Venkateshwaran Iyer is a techie turned organic farmer working to solve agrarian crisis in India. A science graduate and certified project manager, Iyer left is 14years of IT career to live on his own organic farm. He is the author of "Moong over Microchips" in which he has documented what it is like to move away from a secured corporate job to an unpredictable village life. His book is rated 4.17 by Goodreads and a chapter from the book has been included in English Textbook for 11th grade by Maharashtra Government.
