In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Hellen Wang

Hellen Wang is a public welfare person for 15 years. It originated from a special experience. She started to carry out the public welfare activities of prevention and control of breast cancer and various breast diseases by herself, and became the general sponsor of "Pink Power" women and children's support foundation in Fujian Province,China. "Pink Power" takes the popularization of women's health knowledge and concept as its purpose, advocates early prevention and detection of all women's diseases, discards all commercial elements, and returns charity and public welfare to its original source. Now, from the city into the poverty-stricken mountainous areas, her pace of public welfare has not stopped.

Judy Zhu

Judy Zhu is a full-time cross gender community public welfare person and has been engaged in cross gender public welfare services for many years. She once worked as an intern in Los Angeles LGBT Center, the world's largest LGBT organization. She volunteered for the U.S. AIDS life cycle in 2017, helping 700 competitors ride more than 700 kilometers to raise money for the AIDS community. In 2018, she participated in the triathlon of the French Paris World Gay Games as a cross gender female, and was the only Chinese player to participate in the competition. More and more documents are showing the number of cross gender groups, but the living conditions and demands of this group are not known by the public. In order to improve the living environment and social relations of transgender people, she and her team have been on the way.

Julie Zhu

During her undergraduate period, Julie Zhu was sent to Taiwan Tzu Chi University for joint training to study anatomy and diagnostics of Western medicine. She completed her master's degree at the Li Ka Shing School of medicine, the University of Hong Kong, and then obtained her doctor's degree from Beijing University of traditional Chinese medicine, under the guidance of Academician Wang Qi, a master of Chinese medicine. Now, she is a teacher of Xiamen University, a doctor of Xiamen University Hospital, and a clinical researcher. She is sparing no effort to promote the scientization of traditional Chinese medicine.

Paula Zhou

An advocate for respectful and effective communication, Paula has worked in Early Childhood education for more than 20 years. Paula is a Montessori teacher and teacher trainer for the 0-6 age group, Parenting Specialist, Gordon Training Institute Effectiveness Training Instructor, Interpersonal Neuro-biology graduate, Children’s Yoga and mindfulness teacher and, most importantly mum to her own two gorgeous, cross-culture kids. Paula’s dream is to positively impact education so as to build a more peaceful world.

Pilan Yen

Master of physical therapy and Research Institute of Taiwan University, with 22 years of rehabilitation experience.

Xiaojing Chen

Xiaojing Chen is a young Stand-up comedy actress and Screenwriter. She loves acting, and is known as the cute Stand-up comedy actress . She has been a guest star in many online dramas. Now, she is the resident cast of sketch.

Xiaoying Zheng

Ms. Xiaoying Zheng is now (2019) 90 years old, still maintaining a young mentality, active in the command stage, continuing her artistic life and sparing no effort to play a personal role in popularizing classical music in China. As the first female conductor of symphony in China, she has too many labels and halos: she is one of the music directors and founders of the Philharmonic Orchestra, the former art director and chief conductor of Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, the executive director of China Musicians Association, the former director of the command department of the Central Conservatory of music, and the former chief conductor of the orchestra of the Central Opera House. She has visited more than 10 countries and regions such as the United States, Italy and Russia for more than 30 times, and successfully conducted more than 100 operas and symphonies. With strong artistic appeal, she has won the love of countless audiences at home and abroad.

Xiaoyun Ma

Dr. Xiaoyun Ma is a psychotherapist who focus on women’s issues and gender diversity. Her specialities are personal growth, cross cultural adaptation, trauma, domestic violence and emotional sufferings, she also works with many sex abuse survivors. She is the founder of ‘Zhi Shi Tang’—a project that help Chinese educated women on psychological issues via Reflection groups, and also sponsoring female students with poverty to complete their education. Dr. Ma started her career as a journalist on China Central Television, then she became a world traveler and writer. With years of study and researches, she now turning her goal as combining Chinese cultural and feminist epistemology to help people discover their hidden power.

Yuan Dong

As a real estate developer for more than 20 years, Dong Yuan has participated in and witnessed the industry changes since the housing reform in China. On the other hand, graduated from the Chinese Department, she once worked as a teacher for many years, and later deeply studied post-modern Psychology Applied Learning, and became the first batch of supervision psychological coach of the Institute of psychology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and registered psychological coach of the Chinese Academy of management sciences.
