A world where everyone is independent of their own thoughts, ideas, perspectives and beliefs- we believe that we are more similar than different. We believe everyone relates to another person in some way or another. Hence, that connection relates to our theme, Building Bridges.

dhulkifli dau

: Often times when we try to build a bridge between ourselves and other people, we focus on external issues. This talk describes a journey of self development as a way to explain how most external change starts internally within us all. Once we love ourselves, we can begin to love others. It’s about the establishment of an equilibrium of love between us and those around us. Bio: Dhulkifli is a recently graduated High school student that has familiarized himself with various leadership roles including being the student council president of his former High school. Furthermore, he is a member of the Tanzanian national debate team as he greatly enjoys engaging himself in argumentative discussion and critical thinking that yields solutions to current ongoing global issues. Dhulkifli continues to observe and strengthen his character in community service, which initially started as a means to find himself but later fell in love with the idea of taking an active role through volunteering to shape the world we always dream of, hence being part of a leadership team that volunteers at the children’s cancer institute in Muhimbili hospital.
