Theme: Mind and Matter
"Mind and Matter" bring focus on how the internal and external forces blend to shape one's life. "Mind" talks about identifying and confronting the internal factors, while "Matter" focuses on the external factors. Mental health, which is relevant for every individual, is often influenced by these forces. Mental health refers to our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, and is influenced by how we interact and react to our environment. Addressing it is the need of the hour, especially in a B-school, where it is common for mental health issues to manifest. There are two perspectives through which it can be addressed.

Bhavya Arora

Mental Health Professional

Bhavya Arora is a mental health professional, trainer, and an internationally trained psychotherapist from California and Netherlands. Having worked with various organizations ranging from United Nations to the Department of Psychiatry, AIIMS, she holds a rich experience in field and clinical work. Currently working as a Training and Development Coordinator at AFS Intercultural Programs India, she is working towards building and implementing programs to develop global competence to build a just and peaceful world.

Dimple Parmar

Healthcare leader and Cancer Advocate

Popularly known as Love Warrior, Healer, and Social Entrepreneur, Dimple is the Founder and CEO of Love Heals Cancer and ZenOnco.io. She has dedicated her life to helping cancer patients. For her revolutionary work, Dimple has been awarded with the "Top 100 Healthcare Leader award" by the International Forum of Advancement in Healthcare.

Dr. Amrit Pattojoshi

Psychiatrist

Mr. Pattojoshi is the Professor and Head of the Department of Psychiatry, Hi-Tech Medical College and Chief Consultant Neuro-Psychiatrist at The Healing Touch. An alumnus of CIP, Ranchi, he is also the editor of Odisha Journal of Psychiatry and Associate Editor of International Journal of Psychosexual Health. Mr. Pattojoshi was the co-chair of IPS task force on LGBT and currently looks after the college psychiatry task force. He has received numerous awards including the RB Davies Oration award.

General Bikram Singh

Retired Chief of Army Staff, Indian Army

Gen. Singh is a retired Indian army officer who served as the 25th Chief of Army Staff. A graduate of NDA, he has been highly acclaimed for his services. Also an avid writer, he writes a fortnightly column ‘General’s Jottings’ for ‘The Week’ magazine and occasionally, writes for the ‘India Today’ magazine as well.
