In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anta Agni

A group of dancers who are professionally engaged in a unique type of movement art - FIRE Show, UV Show and PYRO Show.

Dušan Martinčok

He studied law and devoted several years to legal translation at the EU Court of Justice in Luxembourg. In 2011, he founded the community project Neighbors in the Yard, which deals with relationships in urban neighborhoods. He deals with intergenerational dialogue and, together with Táňa Sedláková, he founded the civic association Zrejme (Apparently), which establishment was associated with the abolition of a hospital for seniors on Záhrebská Street. Dušan's activities with the community are a great example of humanity and generosity.

Dušan Matuška

Dušan Matuška has passion for education, business and connecting people. His love for math, liberty and technology brought him into the world of cryptocurrencies. He’s lecturing about this topic, making workshops and consultations and helps people to safely enter this ecosystem of the future. He attended several curses in the field of cryptocurrencies, he’s Certified Bitcoin Professional certificate holder from C4 Crypto Consortium and he has graduated from the MOOC Digital Currencies course at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus. He is active in trading cryptocurrencies and one of the funding members of Parallel Polis in Bratislava, where you can pay only by crypto and which is considered to be the centre of crypto-ecosystem in Slovakia.

Fatima Rahimi

Journalist of the Referendum Journal, moderator of the Hergot! show on Radio Wave of Czech Radio broadcasting, originally from Afghanistan. She was born in 1992 in Herát and is currently studying at the Faculty of Humanities the Faculty of Arts at the Comenius University.. She loves football, books and comics.

Fredy Ayisi

Slovak with african roots lives in Bratislavan, he is leader of a dance group Fredy’s Dance Group, 7 time champion of slovakia, 2 time champion of Europe and 2 time champion in the world in karate. He was devoted to Joga from his early teenage years. It became hit lifes road. He started first joga studio in Bratislava. His teacher is Swami Achintyananda.

Katarína Juríková

She deals with agriculture and food systems issues. During her studies (United World College in India, College of the Atlantic in the USA and York University in Canada) she did field research with war widows in Guatemala, with indigenous peasant communities in southern Mexico, as well as with farmers in Slovakia. After graduating, she worked as a research assistant on agroecology and climate change and has been working for Greenpeace for three years. She is also a member of the Worried Mothers initiative.

Lucia Kralovičová

She studied puppetry at the Academy of Performing Arts and medical pedagogy at the Comenius University. She was a literary drama teacher and also worked in the low-threshold treatment program MIXklub with children who spend their free time mostly on the street. She founded and still is in charge of the Dúhadlo Theater, whose members are mainly children and young people with Down syndrome. In the non-profit organization called Plamienok she completed a mourning accompaniment course. Now she helps mourning children and adults who have lost their beloved ones in the Center for Mourning Therapy.

Nika Macinská

Active and adventurous woman alongside a creative spirit and with many ideas in her head. She blogs, has a successful business and you can't unsee she is enjoying live to the fullest. She is a mother of 8. Really. But her life is more than about her children. However her children taught her how to see the world and relationships in it. She understood she needs to do what she loves because of only one reason - because she wants to live her live not only live out her life.

Richard Vávra

During the day he is a security technician at a local corporation, in the evening he is a creative soul. The songwriter Richard Vávra, who performs under the pseudonym Archive Boy, appealed to many fans of folk songs thanks to his remarkable musical and lyrical talent.

Róbert Chovanculiak

He works as an analyst in an institute called INESS. In his research he deals with the function of the public sector, internet technologies and the educational system. He published in scientific magazines like Journal of Institutional Economics and is an author of a book called Pokrok bez povolenia: Ako zdieľaná ekonomika, crowdfunding a kryptomeny zmenili svet (Progress without permission: As a shared economy, crowdfunding and cryptocurrencies have changed the world). It's a complete guide to a world where Airbnb revives dead capital and competes with the state in regulation, where Kickstarter replaces tax collection and helps fund public services, and where Bitcoin allows you to build a parallel society where there are no "leaders" and we all have "mixer keys".
