时代的天气并不总是晴朗，2020成了浇淋在每一个人身上的暴风雨，它给我们所有人都上了一课：时代的旋律并不总是高昂，前进的方向上并不总是光明——未来不是一条已经修筑好的坦途；

一些始料未及的事情发生了：我们长久以来认为坚固的共识似乎开始分崩离析，天下大同寰宇一家的全球化开始衰退，二战以后的和平局面逐渐被打破——一场本应该全球共同抗击的疫情，却让我们看到了无比巨大的分裂——

这个世界会好吗？

在地球这颗蔚蓝的行星上，我们享受到衣食的无忧、科技的便利、社会的繁荣，乃至于持久的和平——这一切都不是理所当然——让这个世界长存的，是《人类群星闪耀时》里我们所称颂的品质：坚韧、勇敢、善意、进取……有时候也需要一些好运气。

余光中先生讲：“凡我所在，即为中国。”现实世界里，难有挽狂澜于既倒的超级英雄出现，更多的是人海中发出微光的“匹夫有责”，是我们能从世界的嘈杂情绪中清醒过来，与地球上的万物选择向阳而生，努力生长，去撑开黑夜迎接新的黎明。

莎士比亚《辛白林》的扉页上有这样一句话:“我们命该遇到这样的时代。”但他似乎也在告诉我们:“人没有选择时代的权利，却有着在他所处的时代成就自我的可能，无论是在战事频繁的乱世还是歌舞升平的当下。”
《大流感: 历史上最致命瘟疫的史诗》所言:“(1918大流感)还是一个关于科学和探索的故事，一个关于人们应该怎样改变思维方式的故事，一个关于人们在近乎完全混乱的环境中，应该怎样冷静思考然后作出果敢抉择并付诸行动的故事。”
今日之疫，我们何不是也在呼唤理性？TEDxHangzhou是一个分享idea的社区，因为我们相信人与人之间联结的力量。2020年的年度大会，我们将再一次携手杭州未来科技城，邀请那些应该被这个时代记住的面孔，分享他们生命的力量。

科技创业者 Technology entrepreneur

科技创业者，毕业于北京航空航天大学飞机设计专业，2015年联合创办了迅蚁科技公司，现已成为无人机物流领域的全球领先企业。现担任中国民航局无人驾驶航空器工作组专家顾问，参与多项国内国际无人机行业标准的起草工作。长期关注城市规划、交通物流、航空航天方面的技术进展和发展趋势。 Technology entrepreneur, studied aircraft design in Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In 2015, he co-founded Antwork Technology, which has become a global leading enterprise in the field of drone delivery. He is now an expert consultant of the working group on unmanned aerial vehicles of Civil Aviation Administration of China, and has participated in the drafting of many domestic and international UAV industry standards. He pays long term attention to urban planning, transportation and logistics, aerospace technology progress and development trend.

His main works include documentary films such as Little People, Post-00, Separation of Love, and Once Upon a Time in Bussiere’s Garden. His latest works, Hometown of Literature, focus on some famous contemporary writers such as Mo Yan, Jia Pingwa, Liu Zhenyun, A Lai, Chi Zijian and Bi Feiyu.

西湖大学任特聘研究员。长期从事蛋白质组学相关研究，并将其应用于大量的临床样本（包括甲状腺癌、前列腺癌等），结合人工智能探索生物标志物。郭天南博士在西湖大学建立了蛋白质组大数据实验室，将国际上领先的蛋白质组学知识和技术以严谨、开放、创新、平等的方式，传授给国内学子。三年来郭天南博士培养了8位优秀博士生，20多位博士后和研究助理，30多位来自瑞士、新加坡和国内多个高校的访问学生，联合多个学科，攻坚世界前沿科技难题。 在新冠期间，郭天南博士带领团队完成全球首次对新型冠状肺炎患者的血液蛋白质组学和代谢组学分析，找到重症患者血清中特征性分子改变，发表于Cell杂志，文章被NIH Director’s Blog挑选报道。 Tiannan received training of clinical medicine (1999-2006) in Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and learned biology (2001-2005) in Wuhan University, China, before he moved to Singapore for PhD training in cancer proteomics (2008-2012) in the laboratories of Dr. Newman Sze in Nanyang Technological University and Dr. Oi Lian Kon in National Cancer Centre Singapore. In 2012, Tiannan started his postdoctoral training in the laboratory of Dr. Ruedi Aebersold in ETH Zurich.

He is also an outstanding scholar with extensive knowledge and experience. He studied at Peking University for undergraduate, master and doctoral degrees. He went to Duke University Sanford School of Public Administration for visiting studies. He is a visiting professor at the University of International Business and Economics. After he has worked in China Council for the promotion of international trade for ten years, he transferred to Gansu province work as the party secretary of Yuzhong Committee in 2010, then Executive Deputy mayor of Jiuquan city and then the chairman of Gansu Cultural Industrial Development Group. He has spent ten years on the cultural exchange and cooperation along the Silk Road.

Chinnery graduated in Chinese Language and Civilisation at London University's School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in 1997. From 1998 to 2002 he worked at the British Library's International Dunhuang Project, a project dedicated to facilitating international research of the voluminous collection of ancient manuscripts discovered in Dunhuang, setting up the project’s Beijing office at the National Library of China.

He graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts and received education from Professor Wang Min. He is one of the key contributors to Source Han Sans GB18030, Big5, and HK fonts for Google Android mobile phone system, mainly responsible for the development of process standards, as well as the chief designer of the screen display fonts of Dedao APP and the designer of Tsanger Jinkai, Tsanger Xuansan and Tsanger Yunhei family font.
