Carmen Chan

Senior Manager Quality Integrator
Carmen comes from Hong Kong, a city of 7 million people. She has lived in a village in the Alps for three years, where she got to know some amazing locals and fell in love with the Alps. Today she lives in Basel with her partner and two kids, but whenever the vacation time comes, she likes to go back to the Alps again and again. Carmen works as a Product Quality Integrator at J&J Janssen in Allschwil.

Christine Launay

Director Global Commercial Insights Leader PH
Christine is Director of Global Commercial Insights at Actelion, Johnson & Johnson, a leading biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery, development and commercialization of innovative drugs for diseases with significant unmet medical needs. She is passionate about driving functional excellence, and leading change to shape insights-led business decision making. With over 20 years of experience in Global Marketing Research roles within a mix of blue chip (Novartis, Bayer DC) & start up (Galderma, Biogen) healthcare companies, she enjoys pioneering, leveraging innovation to uncover deep understanding of customers and markets dynamics at different stages of the development of a product or a brand. Christine holds a Maitrise ès Sciences de Gestion from Paris-Dauphine University and a DESS in Marketing from the IAE of Aix-en-Provence. Also, she has been an active member of the HBA.

Christophe Ostorero

Senior SNP Planner
Chris Ostorero joined J&J in 2015 while finishing his studies. He has since been involved in mentoring interns and new hires. He also enjoys helping university students to prepare their career plans.

Claudio Zironi

Site Senior Quality Source Manager
Claudio is a Biomedical Engineer by background, a songwriter and a musician with over 12 years of experience in Quality. Claudio was born in the beautiful Sardinia in 1982 and studied in Turin and Cape Town. After some years in the medical Aesthetic device industry, He Joined DePuy Synthes in 2015 as Customer Quality Manager building the new Complaint Handling Department for the Powertools division. Subsequently, Claudio started to work on Global projects, got certified as BlackBelt Six Sigma in 2017 and joined the global process improvement and optimization team for Medical Devices Customer Quality, He just recently joined the Quality Source Team as Senior Manager, he will be the site Liason for the Grenchen and Bettlach sites in the new strategic collaboration with Jabil. Claudio is passionate of music, guitar, piano and instruments of all countries. Claudio thinks that every time you find humor in a difficult situation, you win

Elisa Nogueira

Manager ESIQ
Elisa is a Bioengineer in training, with a PhD in Biochemistry. After many years in academia, Elisa worked for five years at Colgate-Palmolive/GABA in Switzerland before joining Actelion in the midst of the integration. She currently works as ESI-Q Manager in the Small Molecules/Fill-Finish organization. Elisa was born in France, and in 1991 she moved to Portugal (her country of origin) to pursue her studies. After living in five different countries/two different continents, she settled down in Allschwil with her partner, Thomas, and their 4.5 years old son, Jacob. Elisa’s interests are adapting Portuguese gastronomy to vegetarian, reading, renovating her house/refurbishing old furniture, and enjoying sunny days with her family and friends.

Maria Lindstroem

Business Process Management (BPM) Expert
Maria is pharmacist by training and has worked in Clinical Development for 20+ years. She re-joined Actelion after the acquisition; eager to come back to both Actelion and Jansen / J&J where she started her career in regulatory affairs and as a CRA. Maria was born in Finland and 1999 she was promoted to re-locate to Switzerland for what she thought would be an assignment of a few years. Now she calls Switzerland home and has obtained Swiss citizenship. She currently works for BRQC as a Business Process Management Expert. Maria’s interests are inventing recipes that eliminate food waste, blogging, writing, and spending time with her 14 year old daughter and her two Siamese cat brothers.
