Theme: Zero Waste

We are proudly announcing our theme for TEDxDahab, that would be a zero-waste event, which means that we leave nothing behind but smiles and good memories.
The theme is chosen as our aim is raising awareness about the importance of reducing consumption, and going from consumer's state to environmentally responsible humans state.

The waste management protocol in TEDxDahab will be covering various areas, such as:
-Waste separation recycling bins(Plastic, paper, cans, organic, others)
-Bring your own water bottle (No single-use plastic bottles allowed inside the venue)
-Water dispensers will be provided to refill your bottles.
-All the waste will be Upcycled, recycled, Reused, in a workshop after the event.
-There will be giveaways from our community partners and sponsors which are supporting the eco-friendly movement in Dahab and South Sinai.
-Our supplies will be depending on sharing and second hand set up materials, with minimal need of consuming brand new ones.

Our goal is to keep our eyes open on the alternatives and solutions while taking action to make the dream come true of a completely sustainable, eco-friendly atmosphere in our modern world.

P.S: Our efforts will never happen without your discipline and passion for the idea.
It is our responsibility to make it possible achieving a Zero-Waste TEDxDahab.
