In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Arman Armaghanyan, Arthur Harutyunyan, David Sahakyan

Students
During the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh war, David, Arman and Arthur were enlisted in the army and fought their way out of a blockade long after the war ended. They emerged ever-persistently from that experience: keen on taking the learnings and leaving the atrocities behind. They’ve successfully completed the educational program Progress initiated by Picsart and are currently working there. Where people measure their school experience in years, David measures it in transitions from country to country. Being born in Moscow, David’s family moved to Transnistria, after which they repatriated back to Armenia. Despite claiming to lack the ability to navigate between the cardinal directions, Arman led the group of friends out of the blockade. He currently navigates working at Picsart and studying at AUA. Leading an active life filled with adventures, Arthur also manages to work at Picsart and study at AUA. He’s passionate about deciphering Armenian dialects and discovering different places.
