Theme: Less Fear, More Joy

This event occurred on
June 3, 2019
Portland, Oregon
United States

Gary Hirsch, artist, illustrator, co-founder of On Your Feet, creator of BotJoy, painter of large murals all around Portland, and former TEDxMtHood speaker, will host this Salon with the theme "Less Fear. More Joy" Here is what he says: "Fear and Joy are prominent emotions that surface in my work, art and life. I am curious how they play out for others. How do people reduce the fear and increase the joy in their lives? Is there joy in the fear? Can you have one without the other? How do they inspire or motivate? I am excited to curate an evening of speakers, film, and conversation that explore these questions and more."
