Afreen Mushtaq

Student
Afreen Mushtaq is a student at the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. She is pursuing her degree in Bachelor of Business Administration. She is an IBA National Talent Hunt Program scholar that enables her to continue her education on a 100% scholarship. She graduated from an not-for-profit school. In 2015, her hard work and dedication led her to become a “school representative” and was sent to the USA. She finds herself indebted to the society for the hurdles it placed in her way. She believes that these hurdles played an important role in making her strong and independent because they compelled her to gather the courage to go against the tide. Her being rebellious towards the obstacles has now become a part of her. This thought inculcates in her a sense of giving back to the community. Afreen is the face of Pakistani society today where women have the courage to bring about change.
