On Saturday, November 9th, at 2:30 PM, B-CC students, parents, and community members are invited to an official student-run, independently-organized TEDx event at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in Bethesda, Maryland. Admission is free for all attendees and refreshments will be served afterwards.

Our speakers include:

The Honorable Jamie Raskin, Member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Maryland's 8th district

Erika Totten, leader in the Black Lives Matter movement in Washington, D.C., and the black liberation movement at large

The Honorable Collin O'Mara, President and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation and former Delaware Secretary of Natural Resources and Environmental Control

John Harwood, CNBC Editor at Large and B-CC alumnus

Marjan Naderi, 2018 Library of Congress National Book Festival Poetry Slam Champion and spoken word artist
