Theme: LEAP (Learn, Envisage, Assimilate and Perform) into the future

The theme for the current year is - “LEAP (Learn, Envisage, Assimilate and Perform) into the future.” The vision of the event is to provide a window into the future by understanding how our actions in different domains will shape it. Another objective is to capture the interplay of different contemporary fields and envision how these interdependencies will evolve in the coming decades. With these thoughts in mind, we want to provide our audience with a better image of the future and in-process stimulate their thinking to contribute to the change.

Dr. B Mahadevan

Professor of Operations Management, Indian Institute of Management Bangalore

B. Mahadevan is a professor of Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, where he has been teaching since 1992. Professor Mahadevan has more than 27 years of wide-ranging experience in teaching, research, consulting, and academic administration at IIM Bangalore and other reputed institutions such as IIT Delhi and XLRI, Jamshedpur. He was a visiting scholar at the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration, Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, in 1999–2000. His research interests include researching the possibility of using ancient Indian wisdom to address contemporary concerns, spirituality in the workplace, and management paradigms from Bhagavad Gita.

Jyoti Parikh

Executive Director-IRADe

Prof. Jyoti Parikh is Executive Director of Integrated Research and Action for Development (IRADe), New Delhi. She is a Member of the Prime Minister's Council on Climate Change-India and is a recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize awarded to IPCC authors in 2007. She served as the senior professor and acting director of Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research., Mumbai 1986-2003.

Kavita Krishnamurti

Playback Singer

A Padma Shri Awardee, legendary Indian playback singer has recorded 25,000+ songs to her name in 16 languages in a career span of 30 years. She was the only singer to perform at the Madison Square Garden when the PM of India visited the USA in 2014 for the first time after getting elected. Known for blockbuster hits like "Nimbooda, Tu hi re" among many others.

Komal Nahta

Film Trade Analyst

A Bollywood Movie Trade analyst who predicts the box office business of a movie. He is an anchor of the trade show “ETC Bollywood Business” on the TV channels ETC and Zee Cinema and “Starry Nights” on Zee Café. He is the editor of a film magazine and appears on various other TV shows.

Madan Padaki

Pragnya Mohan

Athlete, Chartered Accountant

A Triathlete who represents India at the international stage. She started competing in swimming competitions at the age of 7. Currently, she is the South Asian Champion and is the first Indian to represent India at the Triathlon World Cup. She is also the National Triathlon Champion (Women) of 2019. Among 400+ medals to her name across all stages, she is also the recipient of Gujarat’s top Sports honor – the Eklavya Award. Along with sports, Pragnya is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is pursuing CPA.

Soumya Choudhury

Soumya Choudhury has 24 years of corporate experience in Management Consulting (AFF), Investment Banking/M&A (Merrill, Dresdner, KPMG), Automotive Industry (Sona Koyo Steering) and the last decade in Information Technology in Application Development & Maintenance Sales in the Large Deals team for IBM. In his latest stint, Soumya has his own startup Visilogix offering supply chain solutions and consulting services to industry verticals in FMCG, Retail, and eCommerce. Soumya is also an Adjunct Professor of Supply Chain and Digital Business at IFIM Business School, Bangalore. He is an alumnus of IIM-Ahmedabad and IIT-Bombay.

Tejasvi Surya

Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha

Shri Tejasvi Surya LS is the Member of Parliament from Bengaluru South constituency, having been elected to the 17th Lok Sabha at the age of just 28. An ardent follower of Swami Vivekananda and Dr B R Ambedkar, Tejasvi is well read on history, religion and spirituality. He has boldly taken up the Urban Mobility Crisis in Bengaluru.
