As director for the Translational Research Institute for Space Health (TRISH), Dorit Donoviel, Ph.D., leads a $0.25B NASA-funded innovation research and development program that finds, funds and facilitates disruptive human health and performance solutions for astronauts traveling in deep space. Dr. Donoviel is Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology and the Center for Space Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Before joining BCM, she led metabolism drug discovery programs at Lexicon Pharmaceuticals. She is passionate about science and education for all ages.

Jacob Partida

Jamey Webster

Jamey Webster is the chairman of the board for Second Mile Mission in Missouri City, TX. Second Mile is a Fort Bend County ministry focused on meeting the physical and spiritual needs of its neighbors. Jamey has a passion for bringing healing, restoration and hope into the lives of those in his community. He has served on the board of Second Mile for 10 years and as the chairman since 2012. Before joining Halliburton through acquisition, Jamey served as Chief Executive Officer for Knowledge Systems where he was responsible for leading the company’s sales, marketing and operating divisions. Jamey is a husband to Jennifer, father to Catherine, Faith and Julia and soon to be a first time grandfather. Currently he is enrolled in Dallas Theological Seminary in pursuit of his Master of Arts in Christian Leadership.

Jerald Simmons

Jerald H. Simmons, M.D. is the Founding-Director of Comprehensive Sleep Medicine Associates, PA (CSMA) and the Sleep Education Consortium (SEC). He is Triple Board-Certified in Neurology, Epilepsy and Sleep Medicine. A graduate of Ohio State University, he trained in Neurology at Washington University, Sleep Medicine at Stanford University and Epilepsy at University of California. He began his professional career as Assistant Professor of Neurology at UCLA while co-directing the UCLA Sleep Disorders Center and directing the Clinical Neuro-physiology lab at Olive View UCLA. In 1999 he moved to Houston establishing his neurology / sleep disorders / epilepsy practice. He continues to conduct research studies relating to sleep disorders and developing methods to enhance the assessment and treatment of patients with sleep disturbances. His most recent research involves the relationship between Clenching / Sleep Bruxism / TMJ Disorder with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, as well as the relationship between ADHD and disturbances of sleep. He is currently extending his practice to provide assessment and treatment of patients who sustained concussions. Education has been an important aspect of his career, having trained medical students, residents and fellows in sleep medicine and then establishing the SEC as an outreach to educate the healthcare community. He has been instrumental in advancing collaborative care amongst different types of heath care professionals and is now leading a national effort to enhance the screening of children for sleep related breathing disorders so that early intervention can transform the lives of future generations.

Jerzy Greblicki

Jerzy Greblicki is Head of Radical Automation Division in AIUT company. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of computer science and automation. From 1996, he was associated with the Electronics Department of the Wroclaw University of Technology. He received PhD. from the Wroclaw University of Technology. He was working on several projects and the architecture of Cloud Computing systems. For the last 10 years, he was working on optimisation the process of logistics for automotive industry. Currently, he deals with the development, implementation, and production of autonomous AGVs for the automotive industry. He is also responsible for the development and implementation of the Internet of Things for Industry 4.0.

Panos Moutafis

Panos Moutafis has eight years of experience in face recognition and he is the CEO of Zenus. He received his B.Sc. in Statistics from the Athens University of Economics & Business in Greece, and his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Houston. He has a dozen publications in leading journals and conferences along with a book chapter in Face Recognition Across the Imaging Spectrum. His distinctions include the IEEE Homeland Security Conference Biometrics, Forensics, and Physical Security best paper award. He serves on the advisory board at the Lone Star College and enjoys offering talks to schools and universities about startups and careers in science and technology.
