Helmed by an emergent group of inquisitively driven students, TEDxIETLucknow is to be held on the 5th of October, 2019.
It will be, of many things, a platform for collection and dissemination of ideas covering various domains; A symposium of established pioneers; A first intelligent fan to the flame of ideas in the city of Lucknow, the cultural capital of northern India.

The conference will span the entire day, and will feature 10-18 minute live talks by eminent speakers and the highest-rated talks from TEDx events around the globe.

Anuj Agarwal

Managing Director of CP Milk & Foods Pvt Ltd
Mr. Anuj Agarwal, is a story of humble beginnings gone the way of a humbling stature. Awarded as the Young Indian Entrepreneur of the year 2016 by the Association of Business Communication of India, and one among the elite 200 named as Champions of Change by the NITI Aayog for Honorable PM's initiative of Doubling Farmers' Income, Anuj is the MD of the leading dairy company, CP Milk and Food products Pvt. Ltd. He has also been the Chairman of Young Indians, Lucknow Chapter and, for some time, a permanent fixture when it comes to entrepreneurial summits. A grounded guy with his gaze towards the sky, he has invested his due efforts in helping one lakh farmers lead their lives and businesses better.

Deepshikha Kumar Anand

Deepshikha Kumar Anand is the founder and CEO of SpeakIn, India’s first and largest consortium of business speakers which has served an array of Fortune 500 clients. The two-time winner of Asia Women Icon Award for entrepreneurship, Deepshikha has worked with thousands of industry experts and thought leaders globally to inspire, motivate, and channelize events. She is a B.Tech. from DU, an alumnus of ISB Hyderabad and the Global Consulting Practicum at the Wharton Business School, UPenn. She is also a bonafide Member of TiE – Global and Young FICCI Ladies Organization, a forum of India’s apex industrial body for women achievers in entrepreneurship. She is known to be a leading advocate for women employment and inclusion. An active writer on industry interests for Economic Times and association journals for FADA, SIAM and FICCI, she has recently finished her first book titled '101 Lessons to be a Damn Good Speaker!'.

Dinesh Pathak

Journalist
Mr. Dinesh Pathak is a senior journalist as well as a career counselor. His first book, 'Bas Thoda Saa' based on the upbringing of children, has been made and aired by Doordarshan Uttar Pradesh as a TV show. Mr. Pathak, who served as editor of the Hindustan newspaper on multiple locations throughout North India, is giving a solution to a problem facing the new generation of the country, which is usually less talked about. Mr. Pathak believes that the younger generation in the country is meritorious & if they used their talent positively for just a little bit, then their own life would change, the country would undergo a complete change and if they did just a little bit negatively, the problems would increase immensely and it would be difficult to handle. That is why he left mainstream journalism and moved the process of connecting through his 'Bas Thoda Saa' campaign.

Gaurav Tekriwal

Mr. Gaurav Tekriwal has been imparting High-Speed Vedic Mental Mathematics skills over the past eighteen years across the globe. Gaurav is the author of ‘Maths Sutras’ and ‘Speed Math’, his works popular among students and academicians worldwide. Through TV programs, DVDs and books, he has introduced the Vedic Maths System to over 4 million students in India, South Africa, United States, Australia, UAE, and Ghana. A TED Speaker, he has been named one of India's Top Young Visionaries by Indiafrica and Ministry of External Affairs, India.

Kamna Chhibber

Head of Dept. of Mental Health and Behavioral Sciences, Fortis Healthcare
Ms Kamna Chhibber is a Cognitive Behaviour Therapist, with a particular interest in relationships, trauma, abuse and the impact of personality-related variables on mental health. She works extensively with schools, corporates and NGO’s and has a strong focus on generating mental health awareness. Through her writing, blogs and media interactions she is working towards the larger goals of inclusiveness, removal of stigma and busting of misconceptions relating to mental health.

Madhav Chavan

Social Entrepreneur
For the last 25 years, Dr. Chavan has been working to bridge the gap between economically underserved students and the better placed, stewarding Indian education towards a more equitable reality. The co-founder and CEO of the educational non-profit organization Pratham, Madhav has been a transcendental figure of Indian society. A PhD in chemistry from Ohio State and former faculty at the University of Houston, he founded his organization under a UNICEF initiative and expanded its reach to two-thirds of India. Mr Chavan is the recipient of WISE Prize for Education, widely regarded as an equivalent of the Nobel. Named a 2014 Asia Game Changer by the Asia Society, the dedicated social activist, through his prolonged endeavors like the Read India Campaign, has helped over 4 Crore children gain access to contemporary standards of pedagogy, his intervention modules designed to work alongside government and private organizations alike.

Manish Bhattacharya

Security Consultant
Mr Manish Bhattacharya, simply put, finds and fixes security bugs for a living, having already contributed to the security of Google, Facebook, Microsoft, Github, Quora, Yahoo, Apple, LinkedIn, Twitter, and many more. A startup consultant, a money smart Joe, and a once security engineer, he has received the prestigious Google vulnerability Research Grant 8 times, one of his reports being presented at Ruhrsec, Germany. He has previously worked at Locus, HackerEarth, Zomato, and Limetray and has had his interviews featured on YourStory, NDTV, and Economic Times. His mission - 'Making the internet more secure, one API at a time'.

Prit Kamani

Actor
An actor, a dancer, a YouTuber, and a TV presenter, Prit has emerged as a well-known face on the television, having already carved his own special niche amongst the Indian youth. From doing ad-strings for celebrated brands like Cadbury, Pepsi, CenterFresh, Bingo, Tata Sky, and Vodafone, Mr. Kamani rose to further prominence through his YouTube special 'Jumbo Jutts', and as the host of 'Dil Hain Hindustani' on StarPlus. In 2018, he was a part of the online musical reality show 'ARRived', featuring Mr AR Rahman. He has featured in mutiple FilterCopy videos garnering views in millions. Stepping into the B-town in the latest February with 'Hum Chaar', he is walking further towards his aspirations of delving deeper into acting. A true professional, he believes - thorough deliberation and practice should always precede action.

Rajamani Vijayaraghavan

Indian physicist
Transcending the frontiers literally, Dr. Rajamani Vijayaraghavan is a living idol for your next-door quantum physics geek. He is an Associate Professor, and former Reader at Dept. of Condensed Matter Physics at TIFR, Mumbai. He had been a UC Berkeley Postdoctoral Scholar and holds a Ph.D. from Yale. Recently, he won a 5 year grant (as co-PI) from the DRDO, a recent feather on his decorated research cap. A St. Stephen's (DU) alumnus, he is currently working at the QuMaC Laboratory at TIFR, aiming to tackle the fundamental challenges in building and controlling quantum systems. He is one of the prime Indian faces making inroads in the quantum frontier, having already built a three qubit processor. He also has, we hear, an interest in studying acoustics.

Rakesh Tiwari

Author & Poet
They rhyme for a living. He rhymes for the living. Mr. Rakesh Tiwari works in the BPO profession, but sure has his way with words. This renowned spoken word artist and poet never falls short of magic in mesmerizing his audience with his heartfelt Hindi poetry. He has on multiple occasions, took the mic at Kommune India, Tape A Tale, and UnErase Poetry, where his widely loved videos like 'Accha Aadmi Tha', 'Missing' and 'Yaadon Ka Swaad', each have racked up more than half a million views. He is also the author of Fasak and Udhaar ka Lifaafa. Rakesh has been into writing since the past decade and has been performing on stage since the past five. He has till date, featured in many reputed festivals, programs, and shows. In his own words: Sometimes the window, sometimes the wicket, stir emotions, and our pen moves.

Vivek Agnihotri

Mr Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is an award-winning Bollywood film director, producer, author, and screenwriter. Starting out in the advertising sphere, he has went on to become a household Indian figure, while still working behind the camera. His most well-received movies are, to name a few, 'The Tashkent Files', 'Buddha In A Traffic Jam' which won him Best Writer Award at the Madrid Film Festival, and 'Chocolate'. All of his works have had the common theme of exploring long-shelved issues in a brave new light. A Dada Saheb Phalke nominee, Vivek has recently been awarded Best Debut Author for his book 'Urban Naxals' at the Global Literature festival. He is currently a panelist on the Central Board of Film Certification's List of board members. A public speaker and an armchair columnist, he has no intentions of slowing down in his crusade.
