FSUJenaSalon
x = independently organized TED event

Theme: The Exiles: different past, shared future

This event occurred on
July 20, 2019
Jena, Thüringen
Germany

This past 20th July, around 65 Jenenses gathered in Haus auf der Mauer to learn about the refugee crisis. During our event, we spread two ideas: one concerning the refugee situation in Thuringia, and an overview of the Mediterranean Sea migratory route -a personal experience volunteering in Sea-watch! Most importantly, we find out clear actions we can take, committing our time/money to improve this situation. We want to thank our Speakers for stepping into the stage; our Host for keeping us engaged through the discussions, heat, and fire brigade-visit; our team of volunteers for putting so much love in the audience experiment, and every detail\surprise that comes with hosting an event. Of course we want to thank YOU for educating yourself on this topic and hopefully get ACTIVE. See you around TEDxFSUJen-enses :)
