Gabriella is a senior student in high school, an entrepreneur, and a social justice activist. At the start of her junior year, she started a clothing bran named "Woke Human". It was not simply a clothing brand where cotton fabric was stitched eloquently- it was also a platform. A platform resonating social justice issues towards Indonesians, specifically youths. In the 21st century where injustices and phobias of the past are still being carried on until today, her bran aims to spark conversation- to bridge differences and spread tolerance through education and the art derived from it. Despite her young age, she believes that she can make an impact to the community.
Margianta has been actively engaging in various national/international youth networks and work experiences for almost a decade. One of his most recent international appearances was at the One Young World in Netherlands, where he was counselled by Hollywood actor Terry Crews and he had delivered his speech about tobacco issues among Indonesian youth. Margianta is now working for Lentera Anak Foundation as the Project Coordinator of Young Health Programme. He is also serving as the Spokesperson of Youth Movement for FCTC and the Executive Director of Emancipate Indonesia--both of which he co-founded. These experiences have reflected his passion as a Development Worker in tobacco control, modern slavery and youth participation in development.
