In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ana Chargeishvili

The European School student from DP11
Ana Chargeishvili is 16 years old, she is the DP grade 11student at the European School, Tbilisi, planning to become a lawyer. Her parents were born and raised in Sokhumi, Abkhazia. When she was younger, she used to say that she is from Sokhumi -the place she has never been to. These words have influenced Ana’s growth and development. Abkhazia remains as a mysterious part of her identity.

Ani Akhalaia

The European School student from Georgian Program, grade 11
Ani Akhalaia is a student of the European school. She studies in the eleventh grade of the Georgian Program. Ani is a keen student, she likes natural sciences, especially biology, it is her real passion. She hopes to become a successful scientist and help people all around the world. Ani also likes exploring the wildlife of her home country and raise awareness among the population. She is an easygoing, sociable well-organized and punctual person. Ani is loved and respected by her peers and teachers. Besides, she has diverse interests, she really likes reading books of different genres. In her leisure time, she often goes out with her friends and family and enjoys being close to nature.

Elene Shamanadze

The European School student from AHS, grade 11
Elene Shamanadze is a junior at European School in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is interested in psychology and is considering continuing her studies in criminal psychology. From her character, it is clearly seen that she is very interested in societal issues and the community itself. She hopes to bring a change in society not only in her country but also worldwide. Elene hopes to inspire others and raise her voice about issues which are known but not widely talked about.

Giorgi Darchidze

Giorgi Darchidze is from Batumi- the city where he spent the childhood and he especially loves. Giorgi is the IB DP grade 11 student at the European School. He is busy with his studies and does not have time for sports activities, which is painful for him as Giorgi trained a lot in the past. He owns a karate black belt and successfully participated in several karate championships. Giorgi plans to continue his studies at King’s College, UK.

Giorgi Vekua

The graduate of Tbilisi public school #52
Giorgi Vekua just finished 52nd public school and is going to study at the university in Tallinn, Estonia on the faculty of Integrated Engineering. He started doing magic when he was 12 years old. It helped him in many ways and played an extremely big part in his life. He can’t imagine his life without music. Giorgi loves listening to music, playing on the piano and creating songs digitally. He thinks the quote which describes him would be "fake it till you make it."

Irakli Bezhuashvili

The European School student from AHS, grade 11
Irakli Bezhuashvili is a junior at the European School in Tbilisi, Georgia. His academic interests are mainly in Economics and Government. Having received top scores for AP Microeconomics and AP Macroeconomics, he is now taking on the AP Comparative Government. As one of the active students at school, Irakli contributes time and effort to extracurricular life, participating in charity, raising awareness about persons with disabilities (recording audiobooks), founding and running school clubs (namely, the MUN club). Irakli brings energy and enthusiasm to school activities and has joined the TEDx family with alacrity.

Juan Manuel Cuero Bravo

Juan Manuel Cuero Bravo is in DP11 at the ES. He is from Colombia but has been living in different countries such as Colombia, Myanmar, Spain and now in Georgia. Through the years he has been in a lot of places that have helped him to open his mind towards many things. Mainly, he has been concerned about the meaning of justice, in the justice of what he calls "War Children".He has been able to see how children live in places where the word war, bullet and dead are common as the words: life, bread and live. Juan loves to dance, sing and express his feelings toward the people and is always trying to help and learn from his mistakes. He is an introverted boy and all he wants is to be happy and help people.

Zuka Kevanishvili

The European School student from DP11
Zuka Kevanishvli is an 11th grade DP student. He loves creativity, and everything related to creation. As a kid he used to love playing with Lego, solving puzzles. He is attracted to sciences due to that reason and wishes to become a scientist himself. Yet alongside his studies he also has hobbies. He loves playing strategic games and loves comedy. His favorite game is chess and he is disappointed about how unpopular it is amongst his friends and generally in his generation. He considers chess extremely fun and wishes that schools promote playing chess like they do with other, relatively more popular sports like football, basketball, and rugby.
