The Woodside Priory School's TEDx Club will be hosting its third TEDx event from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on May 5th, 2019 (Sunday). The theme of this year's event is “Influencers”, where the speakers will be exploring the questions:

- Who are our greatest influencers?
- How has social media provided a new and different platform for influencers?
- What are the ethical responsibilities of being an influencer?

With a B.S. in Computer Science with minor in Psychology and M.S. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Alice Chang is an entrepreneurship teacher who guides teams to design, produce, and pitch products venture capitalists. She speaks on the power of teachers to inspire dynamic creativity in the next generation.

Jessica Doll

Professional Photographer, Social Media Influencer
Jessica Doll is a professional photographer, avid traveler, and social media influencer. Her travel, life & style blog, Hej Doll, is widely followed in California and beyond. Jessica Doll discusses the power of social media and the unseen work of being an influencer.

Matthew Leavy

Benedictine Monk, Educator
Father Matthew Leary is one of Priory’s own Benedictine monks, who have dedicated themselves to spreading the Benedictine message and taking part in Benedictine teaching. Before he came to the Priory he was the abbot at St. Anselm Abby in New Hampshire, we are glad to have him at the Priory and tonight he will be speaking on the moral abilities and responsibilities of influencers.
