In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Through his compelling four-step plan, he aims to make his audience acknowledge their advantages, and to put them to proper use: for the greater good of their community.

Andrea Farach

By revealing her dark past, and comparing it to her vibrant present, Andrea Farach determines the necessary steps in order to accomplish personal growth. She challenges the audience to believe in someone else.

Pablo Lacayo

Pablo Lacayo emphasizes the importance of political participation. He seeks to persuade his audience to become politically engaged citizens who are capable of igniting change in their communities.

Regina Franco

Student
Regina Franco communicates the importance of confronting and tackling emotional pain. She inspects the significance of developing healthy coping mechanisms, as opposed to poor coping habits, in order to develop emotional maturity. Through heart-felt narrations of her personal experiences, she compels the audience to acknowledge and nurture their emotions to reach mental wellness.

Veronica Lanuza

Student
Veronica Lanuza speaks about how every small decision we make impacts our life. With this in mind, we must make wise choices to develop healthy habits. Particularly, she stresses that we must eat consciously, or we may face dependency on foods that deteriorate our health.
