In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anahita Dhondy

Anahita Dhondy is an accomplished chef settled in Delhi. She showcases her Parsi roots as the Chef Manager at SodaBottleOpenerWala, a quintessential Bombay Irani cafe. She is an alumnus of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, London. She is also an expert in French cuisine. She has worked in a TV show called ‘Femme Foodies’ and is currently working on her own Parsi cuisine cookbook

Anju Kish

Anju Kish is the Founder and CEO of Untaboo, a brand dedicated to sexuality and sex education across all ages. She realized that sex education is a highly taboo topic in India, with a lot of misconceptions surrounding it. In 2011, she founded “Out of the Box”, an initiative to help spread sex education, which is now known as “Untaboo”. She is determined to make sex education acceptable and accessible to all.

Bharti Dayal

Madhubani Artist | National Award for excellence in handicrafts recipient
Bharti Dayal is a Madhubani artist from Mithila - the birthplace of the art form itself. Her paintings are a simplified manifestation of the philosophical underpinnings characteristic of Indian folk traditions. While being an advocate of the Madhubani style of painting, she's also supporting and mentoring up-and-coming Madhubani artists to create unique works of art. For her contributions, she was awarded the National Award for excellence in handicrafts in 2007.

Harinder Sikka

Harinder Sikka is most famous for his spy thriller novel, Calling Sehmat. The novel was adapted into a Hindi-language spy thriller titled Raazi, starring Alia Bhatt. He has also written over 100 articles in leading Indian newspapers on issues relating to national security, health, IPR & TRIPS and counterfeiting. He is the second Indian to be awarded the “Outstanding Service in the field of Anti-Counterfeiting in India” by the Global Anti-Counterfeiting Group, Paris and the “Indira Super Achiever Award”, 2005 which recognizes professional talent.

Saumya Kulshreshtha is a writer, poet, translator, digital marketer, community curator, and educator. It is in poetry and education that she finds the pulse of her existence. She is the Founder of Poets' Collective, a Delhi based poetry club with a World Record in its name. She loves delving deep into literature, poetry, and mythology, and teaches the same at several institutions. She is also a communications instructor, having conducted training sessions and workshops in colleges all over India. She is a voracious reader (trying to clock a 100 books each year), avid traveler and enjoys singing. If she was allowed to pass on her personal gifts to students, she thinks an unwavering passion for reading and eternal fascination with the world are going to be on top of her list.
