Conny Wollbrant

Director of the Behavioural Scienence Centre in Stirling

Dr Wollbrant is the director of Behavioural Science Centre in Stirling. The focus of his researches is based on the area of Behavioural and Experimental Economics. He is considering various aspects of self-control, altruism and decision making. In his recent work he investigated questions, such as how bounded rationality can result in individuals behaviours and to what long-term outcomes can it lead to.

Julie Nyerges

Politics and Economics Student at University of Glasgow

She is a 2nd year UofG student doing a joint degree in Politics and Economics. Apart from studying Julie is a Senior Debater in GUU Debating Society. She represented Glasgow in the World and European Debating Championships! Her major interest is concentrated on the symbiosis between Economics and Psychology.

Sayantan Ghosal

Professor of Economics at University of Glasgow

Previously he had a great scientific experience in the University of Warwick, where he was a Research Director of Economic and Social Research Council during the period of time from 2004 to 2013. Professor has not only that rich background in research work but a PhD from Universite Catholique de Louvain. Currently he is specifying in the coordination of interdisciplinary network “Behavior, Structure and Interventions” at the University of Glasgow. On Tuesday 13th of November professor Ghosal will give a talk about “Combating Stigma With The Power of Dreambuilding”!
