In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Bakkar is the CEO & founder of Give And Go, a non-profit organization that helps and supports the misfortune community members and respond to different community needs such as education, health, family support. He was previously a professional training coordinator at the International Training Malaysian Centre Sdn Bhd to support trainers of preparing their trainings, and a Digital Marketing Executive at MS ASIA Education & Development Services Sdn Bhd where he had develop more than 1000 courses content for over 100 different universities. Also, Bakkar had developed and built My College Website structure to provide study courses to Middle Eastern students. He holds a MBA in Project Management from Limkokwing University and is currently a Sales & Marketing Executive at Al Sakkaf Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd.
