Ayodeji Oluwaseun Osowobi

CEO/Founder Stand To End Rape
Oluwaseun Ayodeji Osowobi is an alumna of Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and Swansea University, United Kingdom. She is the Executive Director of Stand to End Rape initiative (STER),a youth-led organization engaging in raising awareness on GBV From 2016 to 2017, as part of the “Rape Awareness and HCT Drive” project, Oluwaseun Initiative facilitated discussions on sexual violence, testing and counselling services to about 1000 people and adolescents and 2000 community members in five Local Governments Areas in Lagos State, and trained about 100 Healthcare providers in 20 Government Hospitals and Primary Healthcare Centers in Nigeria. she has been awarded the Vital Voices Fellowship,the2017 Future Award Africa Prize for Advocacy, the 2017 Future of Women Africa: Social Impact Award, Queen’s Young Leader Highly Commended Runner-Up award 2017, the 2018 Obama Foundation Leader: Africa, 2018 Women Deliver Fellowship and recently, the Commonwealth Young Person of the Year 2019.

Iman Rukayyah

Rukkayyah Iman is a writer and a poet and song writer, who just got the confidence to start sharing her poetry this year. She grew up in London, England But is originally from jigawa state, Nigeria. She started writing short stories at the age of 7 in her dyslexia lessons and then later on developed her writing into poetry. She has been working with Alhanislam as her partner, they have also started a group together called mics and voices. Rukkayyah Imans poetry ranges from her political views to Abstract poems, from stuff people can’t speak about to stuff going on around us.

Nasir Yammama is A Creative Technologist and Entrepreneur. He is the founder and CEO of Verdant AgriTech, a startup that builds solutions for farmers and other stakeholders of the agricultural value-chain in Nigeria. Nasir made the prestigious 2017 Forbes “30 Under 30” list – among Africa’s 30 most successful entrepreneurs, change-makers and innovators under 30. He also received the 2017 Queen’s Young Leaders Award from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for his work. A 2014 winner of Virgin Atlantic’s Enterprise Challenge, Nasir is mentored by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson. Having trained at MIT as an entrepreneur and innovator, Nasir is a coach at the MIT Entrepreneurship and Innovation Bootcamp. He is Interested in technology, renewable energies, and agriculture.

Muhammad Nuruddeen Lemu is the Director of Research and Training at the Da’wah Institute of Nigeria (DIN), Islamic Education Trust (IET) in Minna, Nigeria. He develops, facilitates and conducts train-the-trainers courses in enhancing inter-faith dialogue and engagement, intra-faith cooperation, responding to various forms of religious extremism among Muslims, and promoting faith-based critical thinking (“Shari’ah Intelligence”). . He is a Director of several organizations including: Lotus Capital (Halal Investments) Limited, the Development Initiative of West Africa (DIWA), the Almajiri Child Rights Initiative (ACRI), ICICE-Al-Noor Academy, a co-founder of the Inter-Faith Activity and Partnership for Peace (IFAPP) and of the Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) Minna which focuses on education for sustainable development. He holds various positions on the boards of several other organisations that focus on issues related to social welfare.

Oliver Balogun Johnson

Oliver B. Johnson, an American/Nigerian, popular ‘Coach OBJ’ founded BASKETBALL FOR PEACE (BB4P) in 2003, as a Youth Development System providing opportunities for ‘grassroots youths’ in an atmosphere of PEACE. Coach OBJ is the Technical Adviser BASKETBALL A.B.U Zaria, author of the book, 25 Years of Basketball in Nigeria and other Basketball developmental pamphlets for improvement. Nigeria’s first full-time National Basketball Coach 1971-1985, pioneer of female Basketball for the 3rd All African Games (Lagos-1973). BB4P is a ‘peace movement in motion’, solving problems affecting Youths in their Grassroots Communities. The Youth and PEACE Loving People with ‘ideas’ are the engine of BB4P; which is mainly focused on using the game of Basketball to attract at risk Youth away from violent conflict the PEACE ZONES (Basketball Courts) are safe areas for training, promoting peace and the first stage for establishing the needs of the local residents.
