Theme: To fix our economy, what new approaches and limits do we need to consider?

This event occurred on
November 19, 2018
Calgary, Alberta
Canada

If you've watched the news anytime recently (especially if you heard any campaigning from the US midterm elections, ...and my sympathies if you did), politicians all say the economy has to be fixed, and they all know how.

But do they? Aren't they all preaching a variety of the same outdated solutions, based on relying on unlimited and endless growth? Is more, More, MORE truly going to help us? And if it's supposed to, why hasn't it?

Join us for a TED-Talk (followed by group conversations) about how it's critical that we start to consider a different economic approach. Maybe it's time to upend the corporate models and control we've followed for 200 years, and take a look at how our economy should consider evolving instead of growing.
