Theme: Showing Up

This event occurred on

TEDWomen is a three-day conference about the power of women and girls to be creators and change-makers. It brings together a global community of people interested in exploring how change begins: with innovative thinkers who catalyze ideas toward action.

For TEDWomen 2018, we’ll be exploring the theme of Showing Up. Women have traditionally been kept out of certain domains, but the tide has now shifted. A more open society means that people - regardless of gender - must be considered equals. A more competitive marketplace means that talent - not old boy connections - determine whether one makes the cut. A more diverse culture means that character - not appearance - determines one's worth.

More doors than ever are now open - it is time to show up.
