“Adham Ali a well rounded IB student with a Biology IA that will not only get him into medicine but will also help an unbelievable amount of people. However, when he’s not too busy helping people he’s enjoying a nice game of football.

Ali Hosam

High School Student / Boxer
Our next speaker is Ali Husam. A high-school junior and kick-boxer who takes a comic approach in his critique of modern society. This week Ali will be sharing his take on the Arabic language in modern society, the role it plays, and what it has become. With a topic that gets him impassioned and fired up, Ali describes his talk as one that will make you "see the Arabic language from many new angles"

Halla Waleed

“Halla Waleed is a multi-dimensional IB Visual Arts student, always looking at things from different perspectives. Her passion lies not only in the arts, but in her soccer team, her physics and math Higher Level classes, and all the films and literature she can get her hands on. With the knack to pick everything apart and the vision of a creative director, she’s always thinking of new angles and ideas.

Hana Helal

High School Student / Movement and Dance Performer
Hana is a senior American Diploma student who studies IB Psychology as part of her passion. She is also a professional dancer/performer, who also loves training and teaching dance and movement.

Ismail Shehab

High School Student / Videographer
Ismael Shehab is a zealous 17 year old content creator. His passion not only lies with filmmaking and photography, but in connecting and making a difference in Egypt. He was the youngest person ever to work at the Gouna Film Festival 2018. At TEDxYouth@TheNile, he hopes to show you how you can use “The Power of You” as his did on his journey.

Kanzi El Nasharty

High School Student
Kanzi is a high school IB student who has been struggling with serious health conditions, physical and emotional, due to a physical condition that resulted in an eating disorder. Kanzi's determination and hard work are key to the success of her journey as she unfolds in her talk one of the most important truths about our society's understanding of wellbeing.

Mariam is a senior at Hayah International Academy. She is a people person who always finds it easy to listen to friends and give herself all to them. She always searches for the truth and can argue for hours to get to the bottom of things. She admires people who work on themselves and build their characters. A food lover who appreciates all kinds of foods. Eating extremely slowly to indulge every bite.”

“Who am I? Well, I am just like you a high school student who just likes to explore the internet a bit too much, and through this exploration, I would find new and exciting ideas that add to my general knowledge. Sometimes when I stumble upon some of these ideas I even look into them even further and even to contribute to them in some way, and this is basically what brought me here to share with you what I think is a revolutionizing Idea.”

“Our first guest speaker, Omar Shaarawy, a two-times cancer survivor, is a prime example of not letting obstacles stop you. Shaarawy worked as a marketeer before deciding that his real passion lies in the sports industry instead. An ex-professional football player, he currently works passionately as a performance specialist & football strength and conditioning specialist at Ignite Performance Training.

Ramy Khorshed

"Since graduating from Duke University with a degree in Economics and Information Science, Ramy started a real estate investment firm, joined a solar energy development company based between Jamaica and MENA, and then brought back SPARK Ventures' entrepreneurship program as Director for two years. Now running his software development firm, Ramy shares some personal and hard-earned experiences on career building and navigating uncertainty as an entrepreneur.

Yousef Korayem

Youssef Korayem is a mild-mannered gentleman, who in his spare time enthuses greatly about the physical sciences and enjoys heavy metal music. He even has the power of sleeping while such music is playing! Currently, he is mourning the termination of Mars "Opportunity" Mission and has expressed many times his wishes for a house on Mars far, far, far away from Earth
