In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Founder of TSURUGI, Professional e-Sports team

Yohei SAKAIDANI President of the Toyama e-Sports Association, TSURUGI Professional e-sports team. Born and living in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture. Because of the shortage of competitions, he held his own online game competitions when he was a high school student. Around 2013, he held online game tournaments with a sponsor company regularly. From 2016, he started to create an environment where people can enjoy competitions in Toyama. In 2018, the professional e-sports team "TSURUGI" was established to support the players who challenge the new stage. 堺谷陽平 富山県eスポーツ協会 会長、プロeスポーツチーム TSURUGI 代表 富山県射水市出身 射水市在住 「大会が少ないから」を理由に、高校時代からお昼ご飯代をコツコツ貯めて賞品を購入し、オンラインでのゲーム大会を自主開催。 2013年頃には、スポンサー企業を付けて定期的にオンラインのゲーム大会を開催。 2016年から地元の富山県を拠点に競技が楽しめる環境づくりを開始、競技シーンを目指して活動しているプレイヤー達を、新しいステージへの挑戦をサポートするべく、2018年にはプロeスポーツチーム「TSURUGI」を設立。
