Our event will be during the Summer 2011 Semester At Sea Voyage. We will be sailing for 10 weeks to 8 countries throughout the Mediterranean together on the MV Explorer on a study abroad program. There are 670 college students from 290 Universities represented on the ship. Our theme is "Live with Purpose, Work with Purpose, Travel with Purpose" which the students, faculty and lifelong learners have been experiencing on this voyage. A faculty member, students and a guest speaker will be presenting. The students helped organize the event and everyone is extremely excited! Carpe Diem!

Drew Kahn

Drew Kahn is a Professor of Theater at Buffalo State College where he teaches acting and directs productions. The focus of his work is using theater and storytelling as a vehicle for social justice, particularly in communities healing from civil war and Genocide. Tonight he will share the power of storytelling in his transforming journey from a play in Buffalo, New York to the glorious hills of Rwanda.

Lyndsi Sherman

Lyndsi Sherman hails from Scottsdale, Arizona and will be a senior at San Diego State University in the fall. She will be talking about how to live a more fulfilling life and how a Diet Coke a day keeps the doctor away.

John-Paul Sulllivan

John-Paul Sullivan is a student at at Bryant University studying finance and economics. He will be speaking to us tonight about the need for more education in business and financial literacy.
