Datuk Yasmin Mahmood

Managing Director of FutureReady Consulting
Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, Managing Director of FutureReady Consulting, is widely regarded as Malaysia’s global tech icon, having spearheaded both nation-building initiatives and multinational companies’ priorities throughout the past three decades. A visionary in the areas of Digital Economy Transformation, Yasmin was previously the CEO of Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, and, prior to that, Managing Director of Microsoft Malaysia, General Manager of Hewlett Packard Malaysia’s Commercial Channels Organisation and General Manager and Regional Corporate Director of Dell Malaysia. In 2018, Yasmin was recognised as one of the world’s 100 most influential people in Digital Government by Apolitical, an independent UK-based global network for government which focuses on helping public servants find solutions to issues.

Dr Andrew Filmer

Senior Lecturer in Music, Department of Performance and Media, School of Arts
Dr Andrew Filmer has diverse interests, from viola performance to musicology to public speaking. He is a consultant for the Australian and New Zealand Viola Society, and was the first non-American Editor of the Journal of the American Viola Society. Andrew has facilitated workshops for the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) and Trinity College London, and narrated for the Selangor Symphony and the Song Weavers. He is a prize-winning public speaker, has been featured on Australian national radio and was a member of the New Zealand jazz band The Troubles. Andrew was also part of the three-member team from the Wicked Music People ensemble which produced the first harpsichord constructed in Malaysia.

Dr Yap Kian Meng

Associate Professor in Computer Science & Networked Systems
Currently a member of IEEE, IET & BEM. Kian Meng Yap has spent 15 years working in data networks (IT), telecommunications, computer networking manufacturing industries and electronic control system in machinery. His research interest is on the haptic over the Distributed Virtual Environment (DVE) in Human Computer Interface (HCI) environment. His research project on DHVE is meant to have multi-sensory feedback data such as voice, audio and force over the fixed and wireless network.

Farah Rani

Malaysian Actress
Farah Rani is an avid theatre practitioner who has performed in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Tokyo, Adelaide, Brisbane and New York City. She is most known for her roles in 'Parah' (as Melur), 'Nadirah' (as Maznah), and 'The Language Archive' (as Emma). On screen, Farah has been featured in Liew Seng Tat’s 'Flowers in the Pocket' (as Cikgu Dara), Dain Said’s ‘Iman Untuk Bulan’ (as Ida). Farah was trained at the Michael Howard Studios in New York City.

Lu Xanne Boon

Coach & Therapist
Lu Xanne is a member on the Forbes Coaches Council and awarded the Top 100 Global Coaches in the World. She has worked with CEOs, department heads from leading banks, NGO’s, and education institutions. Lu Xanne travels the world to speak, spreading awareness on how we can utilize the power of words to change behaviour. She is also a Master NLP practitioner, a First Class Honours holder in Psychology and Communication, a big fan of the Masterchef Australia series, and a former beauty queen.

Raenuga Indran

Student
Raenuga Indran is extremely ambitious in her approach to achieving the Sustainable Developmental Goals one at a time. She has previously worked on goal number 12 which is responsible consumption and production through the #BrasAreNotForBins Campaign. Besides, she has also initiated a few programmes related to goal number 4 which is quality education, including the Social Leadership Programme as well as the upcoming Scholars Fund Scholars initiative both organised by Sunway Student Ambassadors. Currently, she has great enthusiasm and passion when it comes to saving our “house” that is on fire and aims to make you ponder if you are leaving the right prints.

Theophilia Lim Eng Sing

Animator and Tutor for deaf children
Theophilia Lim is a Secretary for the Deaf Media and Technology Association.With a Bachelor degree in IT from Linkokwing University, she also works as an animator at Joove Enterprise Sdn Bhd. Additionally, she offers private math tuition to deaf children, as well as being the founder of a local women’s clothing company.

Zlwin Chew

Magician
A full time professional magician and illusionist who has travelled with his shows to over 35 countries around the continents of Europe, America, Middle East, Asia and Australia. He is currently a Royal Caribbean International Cruises’ Resident Magician onboard the 2nd largest cruise ship in the world, the Quantum of the Seas.
