In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Ankit Srivastava

Digital Marketer and Growth Strategist
Ankit Srivastava is the author of the bestselling book “Social Media Marketing and Branding, The Micro MBA”, a Digital Branding and Social Selling Trainer, a keynote speaker and works as a Digital Growth Strategist. He is also the youngest author in his domain. As an educational activist, he highlights the flaws in the Asian education system which tends to reward test scores over pragmatic aptitude. He believes in the concept of a self-corrective and open, learning system that facilitates the probationers to acquire skills/knowledge based on their predilections. He promotes and campaigns for unconventional career choices. He is also credited to coining the term "Career-Blindness".

Eshaa Patel

Eshaa Patel is a student of Political Science at the University of Delhi. She is a believer in bottom-up change and aspires to join the civil services and work at the grassroots level. She believes that change starts when one begins to acknowledge their privileges, and consequently begins putting them to good use. She’s passionate about debating, traveling and politics. In her spare time, you will either find her immersed in a book or watching food videos on youtube.

Kanika Goyal

Fashion Designer
Recently named in the Forbes 30 under 30 list, Ms. Goyal, a graduate of National Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi, translated her affinity to design & innovation into a raging passion. Having studied at Parsons The New School for Design, New York, interned at Prada and assisted Bibhu Mohapatra for over a year, Kanika has carved a very unique design philosophy which is communicated through her own label - Kanika Goyal Label. Her label’s identity, while imbibing on the ideals of luxury, weaves the evolution of a multicultural designer with an ever-maturing design perspective. Her refreshing designs and silhouettes have been loved and worn by many celebrities including Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh.

Lakshay Mohan & Aayush Mohan

Not hailing from a family of musicians, Lakshay and Aayush have carved a niche for themselves in a profession dominated by generations of traditional musicians. Having been nominated for the Global Indian Music Academy Awards, they are the first Indians to be invited to perform at the Grammy Museum, Los Angeles. Acknowledged by Times of India as having "supreme talent" and "tremendous craftsmanship", Lakshay and Aayush have been hailed as "harbingers of Indian Classical Music" by India Today. FOX5 TV recently featured their interview on the famous show 'Good Day New York'.

Neeha Nagpal

Lawyer
Ms. Nagpal is a successful New Delhi-based lawyer, who has been a part of legendary cases such as the 2G Scam case and the scrapping and modification of Section 377, which resulted in the decriminalisation of homosexuality. Neeha is a graduate of the University of Warwick in England. She joined Agarwal Law Associates (ALA) in 2009 and then moved on to become the only current woman Associate Partner of the firm in 2018. She has been practising in the Supreme court for over ten years. She now runs her own legal practice. She focuses on corporate-criminal practice, in addition to also practising bank fraud cases, International Arbitration, Insolvency Law and Electricity Law. She has paved her path and made an identity in a profession dominated by men. One of her personal victories includes battling PCOD and losing 24 kilos in just a year. She is extremely well versed in fitness and health solutions, and speaks about her transformation often, hoping to empower and inspire others.

Sanchana Krishnan

Mental Health Activist
Sanchana Krishnan is a mental health activist who founded Okay; Not Okay, an initiative to smash the silence around mental health in India. A lifetime with bipolar disorder has opened her mind to the multitude of human experiences and allowed her to master the art of difficult conversations that are so important for good mental health. When she isn’t planning campaigns to help India truly understand the many facets of mental health, she’s curled up with a book and chai.

Shibani Bedi

Shibani Bedi is a Delhi based web/TV/film actor, writer, and voice over artist. She’s achieved her success by chasing her passion and creating new opportunities. She has been a part of several viral videos, ad films, short films, stage plays, webseries, and has played pivotal roles in Bollywood movies like No one killed Jessica and Rang de Basanti and most recently in Why Cheat India as well. As a journalist, Shibani has worked extensively with organisations like NDTV, India Today Magazine, the Hindustan Times, ScoopWhoop, and Times of India's internet division. She’s famously known for her iDiva videos which have become an internet sensation. She never gave up on her dream to be an actor. Her first video on ScoopWhoop received 1 million views in just 1 day. Her perseverance serves as a motivation to many.

Valerie has been recognised as a Creative Leader at the Campaign 360 Women Leading Change Awards. She has also been named on Impact Magazine’s ‘50 Most Influential Women in Indian Media, Marketing & Advertising List’.

Vimlendu Jha

Environmentalist
Vimlendu Jha is currently one of India’s foremost environmentalists. He founded Swechha in 2000 and has turned it into one of India’s most influential organisations on youth matters. In 2004, India’s leading news magazines, India Today and Outlook, acknowledged Vimlendu as one of the top 25 youth leaders of India. In the same year, he was profiled as one of the top 25 youth leaders of the world by the International Youth Foundation through the international publication ‘Our Time is Now’. In 2007, Vimlendu was selected as one of 6 worldwide change makers by CNN International to be part of the Be the Change programme, which followed his work for over a year and was viewed by more than 100 million people worldwide. Vimlendu serves on the board of several national and international foundations. In 2011, he was invited to speak at the UN General Assembly on youth issues in the global south.
