Theme: Diversity x Gender

This event occurred on
September 16, 2018
San Nicolás de los Arroyos, Buenos Aires
Argentina

One of the main concerns that we found nowadays is that, while in many places of the world minorities and women are gaining power to transform and change their reality, in other places it seems to be the opposite.

At the same time, many new genders and many new categories are able to express themselves and their ways of understanding life, so the question is: What does it mean to be human, and is it right to think of life as a bi-gender thing? What happens when culture is against new genders? And this is only one of many other ‘strange’ but relevant questions that we will have to find an answer: Does robots has gender? What does it means to be a dad or a mum? What does it means to be a man or a woman? Does sex defines gender? And last but not least, how can we build a better world for all of us?

We understand that diversity is the best way to understand gender, so our goal is to show different realities and points of view and create debates that allows us to reach wonderful thoughts about diversity of gender. Nowadays gender is multiplied by a diversity of new ways to see life.
