Allysa Bassir

CEO & founder of The Breakfast Club
25, is the founder and CEO of a non-profit that is breaking the boundaries of poverty. Based in northern Ethiopia, The Breakfast Club supports seventy children and their families by providing nutritional and educational support, along with self-sustainable jobs and a platform for women empowerment. Currently Allysa is residing in southern California, where she runs a successful business while traveling back and forth to Africa. Next year she will launch a second Breakfast Club in Costa Rica and hopes to feed one thousand children by 2020

Annalisa Vandelli

Freelance Writer and fotoreporter
Freelance writer and photojournalist, she described several African, Middle Eastern and Central American countries. Her works have been published by different Italian major media as Il Corriere della Sera, Rai, La Repubblica, Avvenire, L'Espresso, Huffington Post, Famiglia Cristiana, Dire and others. She wrote two theatrical performances and published a dozen books (some translated into English and Spanish as well). She holds photojournalism seminars at University of Roma 3. She works together with the Italian Cooperation (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and NGOs. The Pontifical Migrants and Refugees Department uses her pictures to describe and comment of Pope Francesco’s message regarding the topics of human beings, especially migrants

Chiara Tilesi

producer & founder of “We Do It Together”
Chiara Tilesi is a producer whose work focuses on creating positive social change in the world through lm, media and art. From producing All the Invisible Children, an anthology lm co-directed by Ridley Scott, John Woo and Spike Lee among others, to directing the Social Impact Department at blockchain-based social entertainment platform TaTaTu. In 2016 she founded and launched We Do It Together, a nonprofit lm production company in Los Angeles, whose purpose is to produce media dedicated to the empowerment of women and minorities. WDIT’s board consists of over 65 in influential men and women including Jessica Chastain, Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Penélope Cruz.

Francesca Federzoni

CEO of technology – engineering
engineer who has been involved in integrated design for over 20 years. Since 2011 she has been president of Politecnica, one of the largest Italian design, architecture, engineering and urban design companies. With 43 partners, engineers and architects, Politecnica has developed projects in over 50 countries worldwide. At the heart of its design philosophy there is the awareness that today's complexity can only be faced with the capability of vision, integrating skills, technologies and people in both projects and creation. Design is at the service of men to enable a better life, where respect for the community and for the environment is paramount.

Jennifer Gelmis

Brainstormer, Connector, Student
I am a graduate student and researcher at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. Our objective is to empower students with the confidence to pursue higher academia in STEM fields by strengthening the education pipeline. This study will result in data-driven action plans that will mitigate barriers in educational and societal systems to provide avenues for historically underrepresented students interested in an engineering career. This project is funded by the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Broadening Participation in Engineering.

Lucia Menetti

Composite production innovation
born in Bologna where she graduated in Industrial Chemistry at the Alma Mater Studiorum - University of Bologna. She began her professional career at CISE (Centro Informazione Studi Esperienza - Center for Experiencing Studies) where she specialized in Tribology and surface coatings of materials. She then worked for Ether as Head of Laboratories and Production, and in 1998, Lucia joined Ferrari S.p.A. as Head of the Composite Materials and R&D Laboratory for “Gestione Sportiva”, the division of the Ferrari automobile racing. She is a valued speaker and holds seminars on composite materials and their applications at the University of Bologna. Her secret: “let yourself be guided by passion and curiosity to look for increasingly challenging goals to achieve”.

Mariella Mengozzi

Director of the National Motor Museum “Avvocato Giovanni Agnelli”
born in Forlì, in Emilia Romagna region, Italy. She took her degree in Law and her MBA in Bologna. She started her career in Turin, working for a high-end fashion company, and since then she spent almost 30 years working for worldwide brands as Walt Disney, Ferrari, and Lamborghini. She is specialized in brand management, communication and business development. In May 2018 Mariella was appointed Director of the National Motor Museum in Turin, with the objective to increase its reach and international visibility. Her attitude is to work with passion, building trust and long-term relationships. She is married with one daughter.

With a background as a banker and barrister, multi award-winning Dr. Miranda Brawn is recognized as a leading, global executive with significant expertise across the finance industry. She is the Founder and CEO of The Miranda Brawn Diversity Leadership Foundation having made UK history blazing a trail for the next generation while helping to close the diversity gap. Miranda is also a global public speaker, board advisor, equality commissioner, patron, media expert, writer and strong spokesperson for equality. Her work speaks to the importance of social justice, diversity, community building and giving back. Her first book will be released in 2020

Veronika Mudra is a women rights activist and entrepreneur, Head of the Board of White Ribbon Ukraine locateci nationwide and co-founder of White Ribbon USA, based in Los Angeles, CA. She’s a citizen of the world, speaking 5 languages, she used to live and work in several countries including US (NY, LA), ltaly, Ukraine and Israel. Veronika is a Bachelor of Social Science and Technologies and a Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, which helped her to integrate business approach in social entrepreneurship and non-profit management
