In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Under his leadership, Daniel grew SodaStream to sales of nearly $1 billion, built it to become the largest sparkling water brand in the world, and ultimately sold the company to PepsiCo for $3.2 billion, a transaction broadly recognized as phenomenal. In parallel to his remarkable business success, Daniel is recognized as a social activist in the environmental sphere as well as advocating for diversity and coexistence, LGBT rights and is a spokesperson for the State of Israel. Eyal Doron

Dr. Eyal Doron – thought leader, creativity mentor and facilitator of organizational and educational innovation. He is the Head of the Interdisciplinary Division of Psychology and Philosophy at the School of Psychology and Head of "Creativity in Action" Executive Program, at the IDC Herzliya. Based on his Post-doc research, Doron developed the "SEISEI method" for enhancing creativity among the young generation. In this Ted talk Doron offers a surprising scalable model which enables and inspires children to become self-directed and creative learners.

Hossam Haick

Professor Hossam Haick is an Israeli-Arab scientist in nanotechnology and biomedical research. The inventions he has developed look like science fiction and have made him one of the top stars worldwide who raises millions for fulfilling his vision. On the TEDxTelAviv stage, he reveals how a boy coming from a poor family living in adversarial, prejudicing, and cross-cultural conflicts reached the pinnacle of the world’s medicine by connecting science and technology with excellence and “equal opportunity” values for the benefit of local and global societies. Ketreyah Fouch

Singer & songwriter from the African Hebrew Israelite community in Dimona, Israel, who has recently captured Israel with her riveting voice. At the age of 23, Ketreyah reveals her story on the TEDX Tel Aviv stage of being born and raised in Israel without citizenship and her musical journey throughout the years at home and abroad thus far. Her story must be told and certainly she tells it without hesitation. Ketreyah was born into a musical family: Mother was a singer, dancer, percussionist & actress; Her father is an extraordinary master percussionist/drummer, vibist and tap dancer; and a big brother claiming all those skills and sound engineer! She has been singing ever since she could remember and performing from an early age. The singer also breaks silence about coping with her mother’s transition at an early age due to cancer while completing her tour of duty in the IDF (israel Defense Forces). She talks about how things changed for her after she went on an Israeli talent show and almost represented Israel in the Eurovision taking second place! Ketreyah’s pure, passionate and energetic musical presentation is widely being proclaimed as truly a uniquely sublime experience. Ketreyah desires equality and recognition for her community and believes everyone can learn from one another. For her Israel is home and she sees beauty in diversity, cautioning all to love thy neighbor as thyself.
