In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Jason Link

I’m a fantasy author and writing instructor. For over 20 years I’ve been practicing the art of writing and storytelling. I’m the author of The Legender, an epic adventure that Publishers Weekly calls a grand fairytale. My readers tell me time and time again how fascinating they find the world of my story to be. Some even say that it has the complexity and intrigue of Tolkien’s Middle-Earth. One of my passions is sharing the craft of story with those who want to learn. I have taught students from all over the world. For over five years, I lived in Nicaragua and during that time, I taught English and writing to students from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.
