Destiny- being any individual's calling, is the very reason why we are all an infinitesimal part of this humongous universe. As some manage to justify their calling against all odds and evens, some more fortunate ones influence other's lives for the good. They canvas destinies.
We believe in purposes, in callings, in destinies and how they can be created or altered with will. We believe anybody can canvas destinies with conviction towards what feels right to them and love for what they do.

Aarti Vaishnav

Founder ICECD & Entrepreneur

Aarti vaishnav is the CEO of the Exxat LLC. Prior coming to CEO, she was the director of the Cancer Research Informatics Core (CRIC) at USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in University of Southern California for twelve long years. She managed the CRIC team of 15 programmers. The team provides IT/Database Support for all Research Projects at the Center including the Clinical Trials Infrastructure, Basic Science Research, Tissue Repository as well as Epidemiology and Population Studies. She was closely working with the Data Warehouse Committee, Physician Technology Advisory Group as well as the Informatics Working Group and EMR integration committees at the Center. Ms. Vaishnav has an engineering degree in Information Technology, a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Applied Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Also she completed her MBA at USC’s Marshall School of Business.

Dr Hansal Bhachech

Psychiatrist and Author

Dr Hansal Bhachech, one of the most renowned and respected psychiatrists in Western India, has been a mental health advocate since 1986, an era unaware of mental health issues. He has been an advisor to Suicide Prevention Program of Indian Medical Association, Gujarat state branch and contributed to State Government helpline for students as a cheif co-ordinator and in-charge.He is serving as an advisory member of Mental Health Authority, Gujarat. He has penned 15 books on mental health and relationship issues and is one of the most widely read Gujarati authors. He was first in state to study the psycho-social aspects of cannabis dependence, and authored `Vaat Mrutyu Taraf Jati Ek Vaat Ni' an award winning book on drug menace. He pioneered the trend of Health Columns by doctors in mainstream newspapers and wrote ‘Manas’.He was first in Gujarat to initiate radio serials on mental health aired on All India Radio. His unparalleled efforts have been recognized by ‘Jugatram Dave Gold Medal’.

Dr. Hina Shah

Entrepreneur

Dr. Hina Shah is the founder and director of ICECD, Ahmedabad and Satyamev Jayate International School, Ahmedabad. Satyamev Jayate International School, founded by her, is a school where children learn the nuances of entrepreneurship besides the regular curriculum. She has worked relentlessly and founded a unique organization for SME development and strategies for making ‘mainstream economic partners’ out of the youth. With the ever increasing necessity of women centric organisations, she also began the Women Entrepreneurship Training for the first time in India, linking more than 10,00,000 women. She has been honoured with a numerous awards and recognitions including the National Award “Stree Shakti Puraskar ”awarded by the Honourable Ex-President of India, Pratibha Patil. She has also been awarded thePMI Award for best project for community development and Titan-India today BE MORELEGEND by titan industries, besides many more.

Dr. Jeetendra Adhia

Mind Trainer

Dr. Jeetendra Adhia, is the founder of the Mind Training Institute in Ahmedabad. He launched the 'Train-the-Trainer' Programme to equip youth to become mind trainers. He received his MBBS from Nagpur University, qualified as a Medical Doctor in Preventive & Social Medicine from Mumbai University. He has worked at prestigious hospitals for 10 years & has also served as an Infectious Diseases Specialist in Saudi Arabia for 6 years and later joined the NHL Municipal Medical College as a Lecturer. As a Medical College Professor, he has several books on topics related to the 'mind'; one of his books: 'Spring of Inspiration' is an all-time best seller. He has also produced many: audio CDs, DVDs, audio books, charts, posters on the same topics and has conducted seminars and workshops across India and abroad for the same. More recently, he has decided to develop his dream project: 'A Mind University' in Ahmedabad.

Manasi Parekh, the face of a plentiful prestigious Indian brands including Amazon, Surf Excel, HDFC, Google Alexa, and Voltas; is an Indian actress, singer, producer and content creator. As she pursued B.A. in English literature from Mumbai's St. Xaviers College for the love of literature, her musical drive lead her to accomplish Visharad in Hindustani music; She has learned her theatre skills from the Stanislavsky method at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film School, New York. She produces digital content and documentaries under her production house “Soul Sutra”. She has produced and anchored her live digital chat show “Supermoms with Manasi” in association with Facebook India. Her abilities and talent got her roles in popular TV shows like India Calling, Gulaal, her latest being Sumit Sambhal Lega- an Indian adaptation of Warner Bros' Everybody Loves Raymond. Her character Maya, from the same sitcom, earned her an Indian Television Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Comedy).

Parthiv Gohil

Parthiv Gohil is an immensely talented playback singer, a music composer and versatile performer with the gift of a mesmerising voice. He has had the merit and priviledge to be chosen as a trainee under Zia Fariduddin Dagar, a descendant of the legendary Tansen. With his imbibed virtues of conviction, vision and a thorough understanding of the medium, he soon emerged as the runner-up in Sa Re Ga Ma, a nationwide talent hunt for budding singers. All music genres are his forte; he can pull of a ghazal and an energetic bollywood number with the same poise and flawlessness. He is very adept in striking a cord with his audiences whilst leaving them in awe with his great range, clarity and energy. He has been featured in the international music project "Coke Studio" at MTV and as a playback singer, he has worked in movies like Devdas, Sawariya, Kevi Rite Jaish, Saheb Biwi aur Gangster to name a few. He is a recipient of the Gujarat Gaurav award and Best Playback singer.

Partth Thakur

Founder of The Wishing Factory

Partth Thakur, 22, is the founder of The Wishing Factory, an NGO that works to promote better standard of living among Leukaemia and Thalassemia major patients by providing quality healthcare, education facilities, employment opportunities and fulfilling wishes. He is currently pursuing M.sc at St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai and fighting thalassemia with a will to eradicate it by creating awareness through nationwide events and activities. Diagnosed with Thalassemia major at the age of just 3 months, Partth is brave willed and believes in making every moment count by working to deliver his bit towards the well-being of the society. With his efforts and dedication, The Wishing Factory has now fulfilled over 340 wishes that patients dreamed of in a wondrous span of just 3 years, along with supporting the healthcare and education for over 200 patients spread across India. He works holding that the smallest of actions can create a huge difference in the lives of others.

Sundeep Talwar is a strategic thinker by personality and can contribute significantly to new start-ups/ network rollouts/setups and has a Dual Post Graduate in Management from Duke & IIM-Ahmedabad and certified Black-Belt in Quality with over 22 years of work experience in the areas of Marketing & Communications with leading corporates in Telecom sector. Before joining Akshaya Patra, as CMO, he was associated as COO- J&K Mobility Operations with Aircel Cellular. Prior to that, he has essayed Senior Leadership Roles with brands like Bharti Airtel, Motorola, Escotel (now Idea) & Essar (now Vodafone) across India and Africa too. He is also awarded with an international accreditation from BID, Spain for developing the first anti-virus application.The search for ‘Existential Purpose’ in life made me quit a corporate career and join The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a not-for-profit organization with a vision that ‘No Child in India shall be deprived of Education because of Hunger’.
