The world has been changing rapidly during the past centuries; we are now living in a period in which changes happen in a flash, with the introduction of new technology, the development of science, the expansion of globalization and many more factors that contribute to the accelerated changes.

The questions are: are we evolving toward good or bad, positive or negative directions? Are we moving forward, backward, or in a loop? How have we evolved and how do we cope with such changes?

“The Era of Evolution” is the theme of TEDxAssumptionU 2019 event that is going to take you to explore human evolvements through the aspects of tradition, relationship, diversity, distance and many more factors that are the cause and effect of changes that accumulate over time into the “era of evolution” that we live in.

Chonlawit Wongsriwor is a World News Presenter, Bilingual Emcee, and Event Host Personal Interpreter based in Thailand, with years of experience working in the field. He graduated from Assumption University of Thailand, with the National Honer Student Award 2007. In Thai society where parents and adults' opinion on children's future is very crucial and pressuring, Mr.Wongsriwor chose the life path of his own by channeling the right connections into his life, as he has shared with us in his Talk.

He believes that all of us wish for great achievements in life, but sometimes setting goals without considering our behavior in real life can be too broad and too abstract to achieve. In his own style, questioning what, why and how we do or want to do things can lead us to clearer reasons and clearer approaches to the things that we aim for.

Silsupa Apirukthanon is the entrepreneur and fashion designer of the brand "Peace by Silsupa." She shines through the limitation of “boxes.” As a fashion designer who has to face high competitiveness, Peace never follows fashion trends but believes in her creativity, clear vision, and high quality of her products in which her fashion brand “Peace by Silsupa” has received fame and recognition from.

Sirapatsorn Trisuchon

Assumption University alumni and Junior Brand Strategy Consultant.
Sirapatsorn Trisochon is Assumption University alumni, and presently working as a Junior Brand Strategy Consultant. She belongs in the LGBT community, which in Thailand is stereotypically thought of more in terms of physical relationships. Ms.Trisuchon believes that true love evolves more than physical interactions, but rather about emotional connections.

Warawut Lomwongsa has years of experience in the marketing world of films, travel, and education. According to Mr.Warawut, strategies marketers use to hype the demand and get customers to buy their products are hardly pure white tactics, but rather in the grey area or even darker. Marketing is a tool to lure the audience into believing and buying products; it can be dark, but it is also a vital tool to educate target audiences. So as sellers and buyers, we shall be sure that we can live up to its consequences.

Wit Sittivekin graduated from the London School of Economics and Social Science. He is News Anchor and CEO of DC Consultant. Dr.Wit has interests in human beings and sees differences between artificial intelligence and authentic intelligence that lives within the human beings in which technology can never replace, as he shared with us on his Talk.
