x = independently organized TED event

Theme: Break the Box

This event occurred on
March 30, 2019
Bonifacio Global City, Taguig, National Capital Region
Philippines

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

This year’s conference carries the theme of “Breaking the Box”, our TED talks serving to inspire others to go beyond their limits of their comfort zones and challenge conventional thinking. In line with this goal, the TEDxBritishSchoolManila team has invited several distinguished speakers to share their thoughts and experiences on this topic, and we hope that they are able to inspire the audience of our event to be open to transformation.
