In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Abrar-ul-Haq is a Pakistani pop, bhangra, and folk musician and politician who was Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate for the seat of National Assembly from constituency NA-78 (Narowal-II) in the 2018 general elections. He is also the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and President of Youth Wing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. On his first album "Billo De Ghar" his name appears as simply "Abrar". Before becoming a singer, he was a Geography teacher at the Aitchison College in Lahore. He is current Chairman of Youth Parliament of Pakistan.
