In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Anushka Bansal

Student
She is deeply fascinated by behavioural psychology and life sciences and will be shining light on the Bystander’s Dilemma in her talk. She is an enthusiastic public speaker and an avid reader with an unbridled passion for creative writing. She considers herself an explorer and wishes to bring to the fore bystander apathy that we, as individuals exhibit on a daily basis.

Anuska Biswas

She is an artist who has held many exhibitions all over India, won many art competitions and runs her own YouTube channel 'i.anuskart' where she teaches others how to paint in different mediums. She has a unique perspective to life and form.

Arihant Hemendra

Student
He is a firm believer in the Latin phrase "In medio stat virtus" and tries to apply it wherever he can in his daily life. Quite simply put, he tries not to die. The US Navy SEALs say "The only easy day was yesterday". Arihant believes with the right amount of planning, the only easy day is tomorrow.

A pianist, tennis player and blogger, she has left no stone unturned. Being a member of innumerable clubs at DPS R. K. Puram, she tries to make a difference and has emerged as a leader. She attended summer@brown this June on the subject of social entrepreneurship and is currently working on a social project.

Oishika Chaudhury

She takes an avid interest in debating and is somewhat of a physics geek. In her free time, she strums along on a guitar and sings. She also writes poetry from time to time. Being fluent in 4 languages, she intends to learn atleast 6 more before she is 30!

Patruni Chidananda Sastry

Expressionist Indian Classical Dancer
Patruni started dancing at the age of 7 and has been learning Bharatanatyam, Odissi and Kuchipudi and researched on creating unique forms of dance such as Suffiyatam, Pseudo Natyam, Lyrical Classical and Freestyle classical. His style of dancing—"expressionism"—called "Indian expressionist dance “ and "Indian Classic Butoh" is a new way to tell stories of awareness on gender identity and body positivity to the society. He has contributed his attribute of dance with many organization like Mist, PETA, Human Library

With a deep interest in Haiku poetry, Praniti Gulyani is a budding poet. A voracious reader as well, she believes in dreaming differently. A strong supporter of women empowerment, she believes in uniqueness and difference.

Prof. Dhananjay V Gadre

Associate Professor, Netaji Subhas University of Technology
He directs the Centre for Electronics Design and Technology which has trained more than 5000 students in various activities related to hands-on electronics, resulting in many projects, products, and publications including books as well as mentoring of a few startups. Since 2016 he has been mentoring schools to acquire an ‘Atal Tinkering Laboratory’ under a Niti Aayog Scheme of the Government of India and to help the selected schools run these laboratories efficiently. He is a licensed radio amateur with a call sign VU2NOX since 1986 and hopes to design, build and launch an amateur radio satellite in the near future.

Rahul Subramaniam

Co-Founder, Athena Education
He is an alumnus of Princeton University and has mentored hundreds of high-school students over the past several years. He co-founded Athena Education, India’s leading program for Ivy-League admissions. He enjoys the process of inculcating fundamental skills among high-school and college students.

Sudhanshu Kaushik

Founder, Young India Foundation
He was named for two consecutive years on International Literary Association's 30 Under - 30 list and Washington Square Park's 2016 Up and Comers. He is also a recipient of a fellowship from the South Asian Journalist Association and the Gallatin Human Rights Fellowship. He hopes to vocalize youth concerns and fight for youth rights. He is the author of The Future is Ours, published by Westland Publications coming out in late January, about the youth right’s movement in India and the state of young people.

Taksh Sharma

Fashion Stylist, Model and Content Creator
She is a twenty three year old transgender woman. She is the Creative Director of a transgender empowerment initiative called KHEM. Taksh believes in using online spaces to showcase the intersection of identities and reaffirm the importance of visibility and representation as forms of both resistance and activism.

Tanya Kathpal

Founder, Eat My News
She transformed her passion for news reading to find a community driven platform called Eat My News with more than 1000 members across the world. Eat My News was born with a vision that one day every person in this world will be positively inspired, informed, and intelligent. Under her leadership, Eat My News has hosted 6 Youth Leadership Conferences where more than 150 participants from across India and the world have attended it and highly recommend it to their peers as a transformative experience.

Vinayak Pachnanda

Student
He is currently studying in grade 9 and has a burning passion for learning which comes from his curiosity and resilience. He is a man with diverse interests, some of them being physics, computer science, math, art and history. He enjoys quizzing and debating and in his free time, he likes to play the violin. He can never decline an intellectual challenge and deeply believes in the transfer of ideas amongst us humans, and their implementation as well.

Vishad Khanna

Vishad is a theater-enthusiast .He has earned several laurels. From winning National-level competitions to performing on various stages, he has done it all and aims to further explore the territory he loves the most. He believes most strongly in the expression of ideas. According to him, every person is a personification of a unique idea that can change the world.He is an extremely ambitious student carrying a vision to go abroad and do computer science. He wishes to speak on the restrictions created by our own mind and how we have cursed our mind over the years.
