En 2018, tras un año retador y apasionante para el feminismo, nos quedó claro que cuando luchamos todo@s en una misma dirección, somos más fuertes y nuestra voz llega más lejos.

El 8M, el #MeToo, el #YoSíTeCreo (y tantos otros) demostraron que no estamos sol@s y que hoy más que nunca, el cambio trata de apoyarnos y ser valientes junt@s.

En la edición de TEDxBarcelonaWomen 2018 celebramos aquello que nos hace únic@s y poderos@ junt@s: la pasión, el coraje y el talento. Ese “nosotros” imparable que se atreve a retar ideas y a cambiar las cosas. Ese “nosotros” que hace que todo valga la pena y que nos empuja a seguir adelante, sin importar qué suceda.

Charlotte Webb

Dr Charlotte Webb is Chief Leopard of Feminist Internet, a group of artists and designers on a mission to advance internet equalities for women and other marginalised groups. She has been interviewed by media organisations including the BBC, Evening Standard, and Marie Claire magazine for her opinions on the internet, feminism and gendered AI. She is an international speaker, and has presented at conferences around the world including Internet Age Media, Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity, Barbados Internet Governance Forum and Online Educa. Described as a ‘deviant academic’, Dr Webb’s PhD was a creative exploration of how the internet has transformed artistic authorship and cultural production. She has also written for the Huffington Post, Eye on Design and Furtherfield and has +10 years’ experience working in art and design higher education, including the University of the Arts London, Europe’s largest art and design university. She has recently been nominated by Evening Standard as one the most influential people in Tech and Science in London.

Iria Marañón

Activist and writer. Creator of the blogsite Comecuentos Makers and author of the books Educar en el feminismo and Libera tu carga mental (Plataforma Editorial). With extensive experience editing literary, artistic and educational books and materials, she is currently developing education projects at McGraw-Hill. Radical feminist since her time at college, she believes in a world in which we educate in real equality.

Krizia Nardini

Krizia is a researcher and educator on social change, gender relations, masculinities and activism in the information society. Trained in philosophy (University of Siena) and gender studies (MPhil, Utrecht University), she believes in the transformational power of feminist practice. Her PhD about men’s involvement in gender justice activism in Spain and Italy, showed her why and how men decide to participate in this global movement. As an advocate for gender equality and inclusion, she has collaborated with MenEngage Europe, and in 2018, she joined the board of directors of the American Men’s Studies Association.
