As the Tech Lead of the Shakti processor Project at IIT-Madras, he and his teammates developed India’s first open source 64-bit microprocessor based on the RISC V ISA architecture. His work holds immense potential for the development of open source, patent and royalty free homegrown CPU’s which is the culmination of years of work across India in this field.
