Can you imagine the number of inventors, inventions, projects that stayed in the dark because they didn’t find respect nor the right instructions to guide them along the way?
We believe in the abilities and hidden potential of Syrian youth to innovate, which is the key drive for developing the society through new achievements and inventions. With the aim of providing a safe and supportive environment for our innovative youth to develop creative imagination and critical thinking, and to raise the awareness about it, we want to bring the idea of innovation into our society.
As organizers, we believe that if creative minds, passionate youth, technical professionals and supportive corporations were well patronized, then this salon will be a great opportunity to empower and help the Syrian community and to enable Syrian youth to positively interact and compete based on their innovative ideas, despite their differences.

Abdulrahman Shaheen
Architecture student/Inventor/Robotics trainer/Paramedic at SARC
An architecture student, Started to participate in the international Robotics tournaments since he was 13, and now a hard working inventor. 2009, awarded the best robotic programmer in the Middle East within FLL Team in the Arab Competition for Robots. 2010, awarded the first place in the Middle East in the Arab Tournament for Robots, participated as a representative for the Middle East within FLL Team in International Competition for Robots in Turkey, participated in the First Technology and Invention Exhibition in Syria, and awarded a best-inventor certificate from WIPO in Geneva, Switzerland. 2011, second place in the Middle East within FLL Team in the Arab Competition for Robots, and awarded the Bronze Medal in Al-Bassel Fair for Innovation and Invention. A volunteer for SARC in Homs 2015, participated in the launching of the national competition for WRO (World Robot Olympiad). 2018, awarded the Bronze Medal in Al-Bassel Fair, and a judge in the National Robotics Tournament in WRO.Organizing team
