In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Dajanique is a 16 year-old American girl. She has lived in various parts of the world due to her parent’s work, and moved to Italy at the beginning of this year. As she herself put it: “My will to succeed stems from those who don't want me to.”

Daniele Zatti is a financial analyst in BHGE a GE Company in Florence, Italy. Before joining the team here, he was traveling a lot and worked in Germany, Scotland and the United States. In his free time he loves playing squash and cooking with friends and family.

Denzel is an American 14 year-old boy. He was born in Northwood New Hampshire, and has also lived in Italy and Germany. He is a bright kid and has a passion for animations.
