Dr.Elsie Hoeg

Dr. Elsie Hoeg is an educator and researcher with 35 years of experience, a journey that took her from the classroom to the university and back to the classroom in search of a deeper understanding of the learning process. She is currently finishing her latest book, More than STEM, in which she explains the importance of teaching students the skills to guide their own learning of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Dr. Moses-Hoeg is the founder and CEO of Cognitive Coaching Institute which supports families and students develop the ability to succeed emotionally, socially, and academically

Elizabeth Fisher is the CEO and Co-Founder of the Selah Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on ending human trafficking around the world.

Graeme Steele Johnson

Winner of the Hellam Young Artists’ Competition and the Yamaha Young Performing Artists Competition, Graeme Steele Johnson has established a multifaceted career as a clarinetist, writer and artistic producer. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has appeared recently at Carnegie Hall's Weill Recital Hall, The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Chicago's Symphony Center, and the Phoenix Chamber Music Society. He has recorded commercially for Hyperion Records and Delos Productions, and been broadcast on Chicago's WFMT radio. Johnson holds graduate degrees from the Yale School of Music, and his writing about music continues to be published in program booklets by Carnegie Hall, Chamber Music Northwest, Yale and the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival. www.graemesteelejohnson.com

As a linguistics enthusiast, Dr.Haiyan Fan is passionate about bridging the language gap in the world. She believes that through repetition, pattern recognition, and practice, anyone can master the intricately beautiful and powerful Chinese language, spoken by billions of people in the world.

Maria Weber

Astrophysicist Dr. Maria Weber viewed her first solar eclipse at the age of 9, and was hooked on the Sun ever since. Now she uses computer simulations and theory to understand how our Sun and other solar-like stars create and sustain their observed magnetism. Beyond research, her passions include teaching, science communication, and supporting the participation of women in STEM through an international organization called Soapbox Science (soapboxscience.org).
